I wrote this about the abuse of my past.

I'm sorry I have to go.
I'm grown up now,
didn't you know?

I am me, I am not you.
I have my own life,
but can't live it through you.

The times have past since I was a child.
You beat be back then,
held me down for a while.

But I'm gown up now, I'm speaking out.
My life was wrong ,
what was that about?

You say I am not fit to leave,
I am not fit to go.
But then you kicked me out
so now I know.

Times have chainged since I was a child.
I think I'll stay here and rest for a while.
In my new place where I am safe and warm.
I don't live in harm from you'r on comming storm

I'm quickly learning the things not known ,
like how family is and that love should be shown.
How mothers should hold you and show you they care,
and fathers don't beat you up when you are scared.

Your fists cant hurt me like they did.
I'm learning my way way without you............

Hmmm... Is this any good?

Some People Say

Some people say it was not to happen.
Some people say it was,
Some people say it happened because things happen
Some people say it was destiny
Some people say it was simply life.
Some people say it's not always the easiest life...
Some people say "That's life..."

Untitled

If I were to say, "I have Aspergers Syndrome"
Would that make me different?
Should it make a difference?
Is there any difference between people and people with Aspergers?
I'm not sure...?
They seem to be different...
But how different?
I don't know..
Neither do I
It's all strange to me
What makes them different anyway?
Do they want to be treated normally?
Do they want to be treated like they are special?
Special means different, I think...
People can be different in good and bad ways...
Why? Is being different good?
I don't know, what sort of different?
Aspergers, different?
How am I supposed to know? I don't have Aspergers...
You might do?
I don't know, do I have, slight Aspergers Properties?
I don't know what slight Aspergers properties are...
Then you can't tell...
Maybe nobody can tell...
Who knows....

:?
Was that any good? I'm unsure of my poetic skills...

It does not rhyme but it sounds very philosophical. I don't think poetry has to rhyme but I'm not shure.

I like both though, very deep and thoughtful stuff.

I write verse day and night.

I try to find the right verse.

The verse I write I hope is the right verse.

I just can't believe how young some of you are! (if those are your actual ages)

I can't even remember if I knew what poetry was at age 9-10. And even if I did, i don't think i ever would have attempted writing some! So, that being said, keep it up!

Love song for a photocopier:

Oh, photocopier, you are my light
that scans each page for me and copies it.
Your scanner is so luminous and bright;
how can I hate a thing so nicely lit?

I feed you data and you soak it up
and store it in your copious memory;
my gratitude's an overflowing cup
when you regurgitate it back to me.

You're always there whenever I need saving,
with your printing and your colour copy.
When I'm out there, drowning, but not waving -
but I must stop, or else I'll get too soppy.

I'll love you, copier, 'til end of time;
at least, until I've copied out this rhyme.
