Okay, going to start a general roleplay thread where the world is entirely created by the roleplayers. Just come up with your own character and build it up as you go along...maybe just start with a basic intro to who you are and what you do in the world of Gandesha. Some basics are...

Gandesha is the capital of a series of Fantasy Lands which exist in a totally other dimension to Earth. These fantasy lands each have their own customs and ways. Gandesha is a large city, set at a time that does not exist... it is timeless. This means that its inhabitants can be dressed from any time period, and can communicate as if from any time period. The City will be totally eclectic and will have buildings and objects from all time periods also... so whether you want your character to be from 1066, 1984, 1580 or 2800, is your choice. The rest...is entirely up to you, the roleplayer. All characters go in here. I have started another thread for people to start the actual roleplay. Someone...please be brave!

Sindri
Race-Half Human/Half Cetra
Class- Black Mage
Background- Little is known about Sindri's personal past, but he has
done many dark deeds, and been involved with many evil doings.
He took up Black Magic when he was young, and has become very skilled
in using it.
He is reserved, calculating, intelligent, and sarcastic. He puts a low value on
life, and should never be underestimated. Skilled in close combat, but not so physically strong.
Attire- Black hooded cloak. Has a dark sword, named Bloodbane, which he keeps concealed, and has pale white skin, blond hair, and green eyes.

Name: Krystal Kenturo
Age: 19
Personality: Serious and a bit over-protective of her sister, Kalli
Race: Elf
Background: Krystal has a dark past, one she'd rather not talk about...
Attire: Krystal wears a long black cloak, and only her eyes can be seen

Name: Rain
Race: Half vampire, half angel (specfically, an arts/lone angel)
Apperance: Rain has long white hair and very pale skin. Her eyes are a dark blue/green mix, but in certain lights they can appear black. If she has nearly exhausted her supply of magic, they are almost colorless. She is taller than average - about 5' 10" - and slender. She has large, white-feathered wings, but she can - and usually does - hide them. She has a long scar across her neck, and similar scars on both of her wrists. She rarely smiles, and when she does, it is more often than not a cynical smirk.
Personality: Rain is extremely intelligent and extremely reserved. She is a loner and has grown used to her situation over the past 10,000 years. Very few people have ever seen her smile in happiness - all of whom are dead. She appears cold and emotionless, but it is no secret that she's extraordinarily protective of her old gang. Most consider her to be dark, and she is. Underestimating her is a very bad mistake. She is serious to a fault and does not appreciate jokes. She is slow to action, but if someone manages to provoke her to the point of exploding, there are serious consequences.
Background: Rain has an extensive background, but she does not readily share. Something tremendous happened to her in the past and it shut her further into isolation. No one is quite sure what happened, but most speculate that it was the loss of someone close to her.
She is around 10,000 years old, and has re-lived those 10,000 years twice. Once as a variety of human girls, then over again in her current half-blood form.
Her magic is always connected to the arts. Most of her magic requires music, but she will randomly play a song for the fun of it. She also enjoys playing with illusions as the song progresses. Her music sounds like the orginal band, even though she is only person. She always draws, but is very careful to keep that hidden.
Rain can heal to a small amount, but the majority of her magic is for fighting. As her two sides - vampire and angel - are constantly conflicting, she tries to stay out of fights. If she is hurt, she can feed (blood) in order to restore herself to some health.
Past jobs: Rain has been an assassain in the past. She has also headed a group of other spirituals to rescue captives from a sacrificing people. She misses both jobs. She is currently filtering around, but is considering an offer to protect a group who have asked for assistance.
Relationships: She is currently alone. She knows practically no one in the city, but it does not bother her. She prefers to be on her own.
Quirks: Rain likes high places. She can often be found sitting or standing on top of buildings. She will also hover in the air - apparantly effortlessly, but in reality with her wings simply hidden. She also reads quite a bit.
Attire: Rain has no particular style. She will often wear dark clothing, preferring pants to dresses. If she does wear a dress, it is long and flowing - etheral, in a sense. She is very self-concious about her body, as scars also appear on her stomach.

Name: Marie-Elana (alert! Self-insert character XD)
Age: undefined
Race: anthromorphic (feline and rabbit) and angel (halo)
Appearance: sketch color
Description: donning a halo and usually half dressed in some form Marie's appearance sometimes draws unexpected attention to herself. Like many of her world she is an anthromorphic being; upright, human anatomy yet having a layer of fur as well as animal features. It is with this combination she is capable of human speech yet can not understand the animals from which her origin lies.

She has one fine ability of creating hearts capable of spreading warmth and repelling negative energies. If she can't pacify her enemy then she will fall back onto her array of spells as backup. She is somewhat fast and nimble but low on both attack and defense, making her a vulnerable target to some.

Name: Quatermass

Age: Unknown

Race: Unknown, but appears to be human

Class: Jack-of-all-Trades. Can use a sword competently and even well, but his main attributes is magic.

Personality: A bit on the strange and wacky side, Quatermass hides with his humourous antics a sad and lonely past. He can be sarcastic, but places quite a lot of value on human life, and will consider it his mission to deal with anyone who does not consider as much. His anger is not often aroused, but it is said to be, almost literally, earth-shattering. Rumours abound about his past that it involved getting blown up by the Death of Rats. (Don't ask, unless you've been on the Darwin Awards forum)

History: Not much is known about this travelling buffoon, however, there are rumours that he has been travelling from beyond the aegis of the world. He is fairly infamous on the stand-up comedy circuit in Gandesha, and attempts to get him off the stage usually ends with violence.

Attire and weapons: Dark trousers, blue shirt, and (when it's cold) a grey cloak. Will sometimes wear a large floppy hat. Has two swords. His main sword which he uses in combat is the Thanatos, and (I know, cliche) is a gunblade. Which would be fine, but it has limited ammo, despite Quatermass' best efforts to TARDIS-size the cartridges. The second sword, Chronos, is one he almost never draws in combat. Rumour has it that this sword is how he is able to breach the aegis between worlds.

Name: Merithae
Race: Human/Celcian
Class: High Dragun
Elemental Mastery: Love/Water
Background: Once served to protect the sages of the Great Council from the most vile of foes and assins. Also lead the armies of Celcia. One day he discovered a prevelance of dark beings that not even a Dragun could handle alone. Went on a quest to bind the souls of the three High Draguns before him. He succeeded, but in doing he was cast forward in time to a stage of infancy. This High Dragun is just begining to realize his old Dragun powers.

Draguns are the ultimate warriors. Their strength is so immense that it can manifest into magical energy that is bound to the emotions of the castor. Their skill with blades is second to none, and is greatly elevated by their Dragun magic in speed and power. As such Draguns can weild unusally large blades, though it is impractal to all but the High Draguns to use double pole blades. A Dragun's strength is measured by the order of magnitude at which they exceed the strength of a normal human being. Merithae is 81 orders of magnitude more powerful than a standard human being. To contrast, an ascended being is only 8 orders of magnitude at most more powerful than a human being.

Gandesha's northern outskirts were sheltered woodlands, with large mansions, home to the city's wealthy citizens with mostly mayope trees and golden streams. Beyond that was hilly farmland, and the start of the Gimloin River.

Name: Dimble!
Age: Ummmmmm...............
Apperance: A cross between a clown and a monkey
Place of birth: Created in the Puppeter's Workshop a zillion years ago
Personality: All over the place. Wearing a smart black hat, a tattered old coat and blue shirt, pants, boots and gloves (with the right one having a HUGE burn in it), she is innocent and sweet but will kick your booty if you mess with her or her friends....if she had friends....

Also enjoys annoying anyone or anything that is bad tempered and LOVES to fight. Is loyal and couragous (except around big places), and at will can strike people with lightning and can teleport.

Character: Koise
Age: 16 (for the roleplay, will age as I do)
Species: Renon
Description: All round good guy, with a knack for humor and plenty of spunk. Typical teenage hero with a great attitude, but knows what to say when someone's feeling down.

Abilities: Although having some physical dexterity and energy, he really shines with his weapons, gadgets and magical staff, as well as his Kiwi ingenuity.

Koise's past isn't a happy one in places. His mother died of cancer when he was 3 and his Dad got killed in a drink-driving accident with Koise in the car. Koise has ventured to Gandesha to have a bit of a break and meet new people and lands, although he still misses Booger, Aike, Bob, Zoe and the rest of the gang.

I've decided not to reveal too much about Krystal in her profile, so you'll all have to find out more about her by reading the posts I make in the actual role-play!

I wish to add here that it is preferable if people do not go killing off other characters with their own characters unless the other person is in agreement to this. It would be unfair when someone has put work into building their own character and storyline.

Oh, I wanted to add something I forgot. Rain, although she is 10,000 years old, looks to be in her late teens or early twenties.
