Ali. You can't roundhouse kick in boxing.

Unless it's kickboxing, but that doesn't count.

What kind of fight?

Street fight = No rules
Boxing match = Standard boxing rules
K1 match = kickboxing rules
MMA match = Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts

I've never seen Chuck in a match, I don't know how capable he was of defending himself or how fast he was on his feet or how hard he hit. I do know Ali is taller and has a longer reach, that he's fast and could hit hard capable of knock outs. Since my knowledge is rather lopsided I can only fairly say that Ali would likely win in a boxing match, all the others are a toss up.

As long as this thread involves fantasy matchups, who would win this one: Batman or Spiderman?

I hate Chuck Norris and would like to see someone wipe that smug look off his face.
French television has started showing reruns of The Texas Ranger dubbed into French with the smug S.O.B. :eew:
Even worse than him is the sicko theme music to the programme. The lyrics make me want to vomit.

Muhammed Ali was a fighter. Chuck Norris is an actor. No contest.

Spider-Man could take Batman the first time, but if there were a rematch, Bats would come up with gadgets to offset Spidey's natural advantages, and Bruce is a trained fighter while Peter is a normal man who just happened to become afflicted with superpowers. Round one to Spidey, round two to Bats.

Now, Batman vs Deadpool - that could be interesting... :)

Norris was the real deal. I don't think he ever lost in competition and retired undefeated. He was known for his powerful roundhouse kick. There is a reason Bruce Lee picked him to fight in the Colosseum in that movie. Lee knew who he was and his accomplishments. Norris also has a black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu from the machados so he can more than handle himself on the ground. Bad matchup for Ali.

Whhaaat 8O Respect the Chuck!

Chuck Norris's fight career lasted from 1964-1974. Norris started off by losing his first three tournaments but, by 1966, he was almost unbeatable. Among the numerous titles he won were The National Karate Championships (1966), All-Star Championships (1966), World Middleweight Karate Championship (1967), All-American Karate Championship (1967), Internationals (1968), World Professional Middleweight Karate Championship (defeating Louis Delgado on 24 November 1968), All-American Championship (1968), National Tournament of Champions (1968), American Tang Soo Championship, and the North American Karate Championship. Norris compiled a fight record of 65-5 with wins over champions Joe Lewis, Skipper Mullins, Arnold Urquidez, Ronald L. Marchini, Victor Moore, Louis Delgado, and Steve Sanders. Of the five men to beat Norris, three were Allen Steen, Joe Lewis, and Norris's last career defeat to Louis Delgado in 1968. Norris retired as undefeated Professional Full-Contact Middleweight Champion in 1974.

Cool. But when did he start learning? If it was after the height of his fighting career it wouldn't do him any good in a pretend MMA fight with Ali.

I wish I could see Chuck in a few of his real fights.

It depends on the sanctions of the match, but if it was a true fight with no rules Norris would probably win in about 5 seconds.
