What are your present and past special interests? Right now I'm fascinated on six string acoustic steel guitars.

My main special interest is jazz and early blues music, but a close second is making acoustic guitars.

my main interest is 3d modeling.
but as always i take it to the extreme.
here are a few examples of what i mean...

Focker EIII
300SL
300SL

im pretty obsessed with detail. if i see something that has detail that i like i will make a mental note of it then make a 3d model of it when im back infront of the computer.

and lately i bought myself a Nikon D90 and spend most of my free time outside learning how to use it.

Let's see,

personal finance
true crime
early evolution
music
alternative energy
peak oil
twins
politics
autism
NPR
Beer

Unless it's extremely complex, like particle physics or some obscure programing language, I'm pretty much interested in everything.

An inch deep, a mile wide!

Bunkers and missile silos has come up again. I think it less about categorizing, more about the visual. Trying to find picture after picture on the internet. I often imagine spending time in a bunker. I would be cool to spelunk into an old missile silo...
And I'm always obsessed with psychology and analyzing people, which gets exhausting.....

Litterature (lifelong one: reading, writing, amateur publishing), it started with classical litterature but at the moment it's nearly 100% science-fiction
Go (for the last few years only, fascinating game)
Computer science (made a job out of this one)
Right now, ASD is pushing all that away though. It will stay at the top of my thoughts until I have somehow figured it out.

As a little girl I used to be quite obsessed with horses and physics.

Making things. Am really into chain maille jewelry right now, but still like beading and wire wrapped stuff. Also dabbling in painting. So I guess overall I would have to say "art".
