I'm thinking that stifling the creativity of an asperger is probably worse than not providing structure, in terms of development. Although, structure is good for mind-numbing, getting through the day type jobs, what about jobs that aspergers would really fly at ? Software development, games inventor. Can you imagine how stifled they would feel working for, say;

Civil Service, Regulation type department
The Police (rules, regs, social norms, codes of practice, dress code etc)
Local Government (more of the above)

What is your worst experience and/or nightmare job scenario?

Not so sure that police and civi service would be unpleasant for an aspie who gets a kick out of filling in forms and stuff. The orderliness can be very comforting.

I reckon marketing, PR and events management organisations would be an absolute nightmare for aspies. Oh yes, imagine working for a recruitment agency and interviewing people ... although could be rather evil; I imagine a scenario along the lines of a Mr. Bean interviewing an NT, what fun
