Yeah, some people will always be pedantic given half a chance.

i can not contribute realistically to this thread so i said what i could.

you will try to capitalize on my simplicity and use me to elevate yourself to the level of a savior. you are a parasite upon my weakness, and that is not a trophy to be proud of.

belladonna: i just played with words and i had no concept of you when i did it.
i am sorry and i will think better in future.

b9 don't let some stupid social rules prohibit you from commenting on threads. I always look forward to your contributions as they really crack me up.

I do not belong to a church.

Why am I not suprised?

Since you don't belong to a church yourself, how can you criticize Catholicism? WHat do you know of church in general?

This statement is illogical. Please rethink.

I have the Amplified Bible which is written in modern English and very easy to understand. I also have a King James Study Bible which is written in Shakespearean English which is a beautiful language. Also it helps to pray before you read that the Lord give you wisdom in understanding his Word.

I love the Lord, but have never found a church where I "fit in.''
Story of my life
I hope that you have better luck.

Good luck for finding a church where you feel comfortable. Jesus said that he is there when 2+ people meet in his name and it is my personal view that whilst individual study is useful, it is necessary to commune with other Christians to grow as a Christian. Best of luck: - you'll find somewhere if you persist.

Then any explanations on my part will be futile.

i have had "friendly warning" pm's from moderators that suggest i should show more sensitivity to people, and i am trying to heed that advice.
also some members have pm'd me (not many) about how they feel insulted by me, or about my ignorance and irrelevance.
i do not want to get barred.
i have ODD so i have no concept of "insult boundaries" so when someone complains to me in a PM, i shut up talking to them ever again. it is not my forum, and if others feel uncomfortable about my style, then i need not continue making them feel that.
in my own home, any that feel badly about me would have landed outside in the street on their ears with a taxi pending. (figuratively)
but this forum is everyone's place. frenzied religious nuts included.

thanks for your encouragement. i appreciate that you are not dismissing of me as a bad person.

i am very sleepy and i am walking past the computer on my way from my shed to my bed. but i must say that it was a misinterpretaion i derived from listening to unrelated news stories and tieing them together inaccurately.
i did not contrive it for reasons to affront anyone.

i am directly off to bed now, so whatever you say to me will remain unanswered by me for quite some time.

hearts that are worn on sleeves all the time get rather dirty i think.
