I forgot what they're called fauns
I should know this stuff I used to take mythology.
The paintings I believe are Raphaelites, my favorites are that of King Arthur.
They are called satyrs in Greek mythology and fauns in Roman mythology
I thought this thread might have died by now...I have a horrible feeling that it might outlive me.

A few years ago on a camping trip, a gasoline stove spilt fuel over my legs and I got 3rd degree burns all over them. As we were in a very isolated place in the outback, my companions, fearing infection, as as there were no clean dressings available, skinned a feral goat that was shot that morning. They wrapped my burns in the goat skin as the natural oils in it seemed to them to be good for the burns and the skin would keep my severely burnt legs clean.
It was several days later that they got me to hospital. By that time the goat skin had grafted onto my legs and so now I have permanent goat-skin covered legs.

yes, but the Maenads http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maenad love the hair. It works them up to a real frenzy. 
I'm sure if this thread is ever going to be killed, it will be by a Maenad

Hehehe, yes a Maenad probably will kill it one day. I'm sure she'll try to anyway.
If she puts her mind to it that is - she's too busy playing her Pan pipes and frolicking in the mountains at the moment . They do a lot of frolicking, those Maenads.
These circles were on the grass in my back garden this morning :-
We must have been visited by aliens in the night and I missed them!
