I appreciate it. I post mostly here. May be I am boring or abstruse, but there must be some place for experimental stuff.

Blah blah blah you never wanted us to have this forum and opposed it when you were a mod. You should stay in the other adult forum if it bores you so much.

No. I opposed losing the men's forum, so
quickly, without enough discussion. I thought
the situation unfolded too hastily, ONCE the
how of it was determined.

And, I DO tend to stay out of here. Just ran
across this post, and thought that some of the
members who park here MIGHT want to know
why it's an exclusive little club. Pretty much
because you discuss the same topics as elsewhere,
but in your own little retreat.

Just because you don't like to hear what someone
else says, doesn't mean that they shouldn't say it.

WHAAATTTTTTT!! !! ahem, 'exclusive little club......' Well, I'm sorry that anyone feels like that about it, any member who wants to post here is more than welcome and it's good to see some of the youngsters in here occasionally. But you can't blame this forum for the demise of the Men's forum. That wasn't part of the package that I was aware of. I think the 'exclusiveness' exists only in your mind, sorry.

I'm not the only one who sees that others are staying clear:

The posts so far are mostly boring as they are mostly those survey type questions. I prefer the deeper conversational type threads. But then I'm weird anyway.

Best of all:

Thanks. :) It's so well-behaved in here, it would be an easy job. Has it ever been spammed in here...I don't think spammers get this far down the board.

Oh, sorry, I missed your lecture there. I was staring out of the window and flicking paper balls at the kid sitting in front.

There's no way I have time to trawl through four month-old threads to try and understand exactly what your point is. I've just skimmed through them, some nice pictures of ducks there, admittedly, plus plenty of posts of yours, but doh! still don't know what you're trying to say. Why don't you just tell me, instead of trying to obscure the issue with tons of verbiage. Is your point that the closure of the Men's forum was part of the deal to get this place?
Then why don't you campaign for it's reinstatement rather than whining about it here?

I don't see any contradictions in anything I said. Yes, it is quiet here. So.... :?:
Are you are trying to make the case that it is quiet because it is, in your words "an exclusive little club"? Where's your evidence that other people think that? As far as I'm aware, no-one has ever felt ignored, or unwelcome here, whatever their age.

They closed the mens forum because hardly anyone was posting ithere. And the other Adult forum is pretty slow too, that is why they have to keep resurrecting the old threads.

I think all the old Aspies are taking their naps, so they just don't post anymore.

Then don't comment on it, like some sort of pretentious
ass. If you know nothing about an issue, you should step
away from it.

Yup. Not paying attention can do that.

I did. You contradicted the truth. I gave you evidence otherwise.
Seems a reasonable way to handle such issues. Much better than
just daydreaming, and making up whatever BS fits your world.

Yes. Because you wrote:

Now you are aware, and I damned well CAN blame this forum.
The dates on the one thread are especially interesting. This was
done without much time to comment from those who used the men's
forum.

I'm not whining. Simply stating facts. I thought that the process
was overly hurried. I don't give a s**t about the Men's Forum, and
never did.

Nothing to do with age at all. There's a particular clique
which hangs out here. No big deal, but it's pretty separate
from the rest of the site. But hey, enjoy. I'm sure everyone's
happier this way. I think it's fair as hell for me to say, as I did,
that overall this is a good place, just not my taste. I prefer the
topical breakdown, that the rest of the forum provides.

You're really ragging me today aren't you? Nothing better to do? Or is that the only way you can get people to talk to you, by arguing with them? I know you're settling old scores here. Go f**k yourself, Calandale.

And I don't care if I do get banned. It'll be worth it to say that to you.

Not in the least. I didn't even know you, until
you jumped on my assessment.

Plenty to do. Just responding to your attacks, dearie.

Not in the least. I LIKE most of the people who
post in this section. Nor do I disagree with the
section itself.

Such hatred. Especially from someone who knows me not.
Perhaps you should work on your anger management skills?

I think it's harrassment actually, what you're doing. But I'm not the kind of person to go squealing to the Moderators. I leave that kind of wimpish behaviour to tossers like you. As I say, go f**k yourself. Dearie.

Bet it really gets you that you're not a Mod now and can no longer delete my posts.

WHAT are you on? Or are you just naturally paranoid?
For me to answer the abuse that you've laid on me
is NOT harassment. I'm suspecting that English isn't
your first language.

As if. I'd hate to see this little exposition
of the kind of person you are go away.
I don't know you, except through this
contact, but I have to say, everyone here
is getting a better view of the kind of person
that you are.

Repetitive as well as abusive? Do you want a cracker?

No WAY in hell I would delete something this precious.
And no, deleting posts was never my forte. I'm GLAD
that I'm not a mod now, so if you get out of hand, I can
actually respond in kind. So far though, you're just flailing
about.

Bazza, I didn't flame anyone.
Even when you abuse me,
I don't flame back. Just saying
that this area doesn't interest me
doesn't seem grounds for this kind
of abuse.

You started flaming me, so don't play the martyr. The whole sorry tale is there for everyone to read, and draw their own conclusions. You bullied Thyme when you were a Mod, and now you're trying to bully me. I have noticed that you don't try pushing the men around though, just women :!: I hope people draw their own conclusions about that too.

Merry, I've NEVER bullied you, nor did I ever
bully bizarre (thyme, I believe). The ONLY
cases where I've done anything like bullying
involved mods here, or when one member
decided to swamp the Adult section with
thread necros. In all these cases, 'twas
merely to make Alex's stated goals for
how the site should be run be actuated.

I think that anyone looking at this thread
with objectivity would see that you took
a personal attack option. I have not, and
shall not.

Or, does one avoid bullying by saying things
like "f**k off" all the time? I'm sorry, maybe
I just don't understand the etiquette well
here. If that's the case, please assume that
I am as decorous as you.

....back to the subject.

I like this forum. I don't feel comfortable in the cafe/s. I find them too cliquey, that's partly why this forum was created - one thread wasn't enough for all older aspies.

I think I don't post here much because of the time zone. It tends to be active when I'm asleep and I have to remember to check the forum rather than just look thru 'new posts since you last visited'.
