No. I have no idea. I don't want to hear from you again. This part of the site is for adults:

In-depth intelligent discussion for the older adults who have been living independently. It's recommended that you have the mental maturity of age 28 or older. Physical age is irrelevant as some people never grow up. Topics vary and are not limited to life issues.

You seem to enjoy drawing a dichotomy between yourself and everyone else. You are not so high and mighty; your just a person who feels the need to justify oneself by putting yourself on a level so much higher than everyone else. Your pretentious notions are nothing more than a fantasy. Oh, so mature when you told Ana54 to "Go away little girl". I'm sure you just showed us how much mature you can be with that one. Your a farce, get over yourself

The thread devolved, just like every other thread you posted in. You just can't accept the fact that you are just like everyone else. You use your "holer than thou" attitude to justify anything, and everything, that you do.

Did I pass your maturity test?

I am sorry to say, Postperson, but your maturity does seem to be lacking. That post says it all.

And Kalister1, I thought a farce should be funny. I haven't laughed once!

Farce:
1. a light, humorous play in which the plot depends upon a skillfully exploited situation rather than upon the development of character.
2. humor of the type displayed in such works.
3. foolish show; mockery; a ridiculous sham.

I like how the English language has multiple meanings for words. :x

I can only assume by the degree to which many people seem to want to silence or hijack this type of discussion, that it is an important one to have.

Yes, someone else suggested that becoming a pay site might filter out the undesirables. I know that can present it's own problems but the fact that it's free makes it a free for all.

Just how would they filter out these "undesirables"?

Do they make them take a mental evaluation? Do they require that everyone who joins submit a copy of diagnosis signed by a doctor?

We were all "undiagnosed" once upon a time.

Sad to say...I've recently seen an astounding lack of tolerance, name-calling, judgment calls, and argumentative postings as of late. It saddens me to see this on a forum created for the purpose of supporting others, as I'm sure it would sadden newcomers as well.

Its how this all got started. She felt that it was her duty to smash anyones opinion that didn't agree with her. Now its going beyond that.

Cash doesn't buy good manners. This is meant to be a support site.

Well I don't know that trolls would actually pay to use a site like this so that's the element you would lose, hopefully.

I think people who are used to particpating in unmoderated/abusive sites like Intensity or zomg tend to bring that attitude here, as though it were an unmoderated site. Lately it seems very unmoderated.

Sad thing is we might lose more than the trolls. If you were a newcomer to a support site, unknowing of the atmosphere of a site...would you pay to join? I wouldn't.

We have a vast diversity here...different countries, all ages, and all walks of life...and with that diversity I think we can expect some chaos. Actually as a moderator myself at a health related site not even 1/4 this size some time ago... I'm surprised the moderator's keep up with it as good as they do, it's not an easy job by any means.

Hey, I got a great solution for you. LEAVE. If all you wanna do is scream, whine, moan and scream some more why don't you just leave. You obviously don't like it here.

Have you been targeted by trolls or verbally abusive people in your time here?

Like you have been? :x

You were the one going crazy in the original thread. No one is targeting you. There is no big conspiracy to get you. No one is verbally abusing you, besides during the initial argument when you just went crazy.
