Yeah- I've considered it. My partner and I are now in "negotiations" about what kind of pet to get. I want to adopt from the animal shelter but he has doubts about that avenue.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear about Bully, NocturnalQuilter. 17 years is a good age, but of course, when they go it's so upsetting. The quilt you made is so beautiful! What a wonderful way to remember your much-loved kitty.
btw, is your avatar a quilt too? It's pretty, and reminds me of stained glass.
