I'm 21. Online it is usually assumed that I'm older, offline I am assumed to still be a teenager both for looks and sensitivity.

I'm a few months shy of 40 and am told I look 19. That's even with trying to wear more "adult" looking clothes. I am really short though. I think Aspies look younger because we generally don't have the stresses of marriage and kids that bring gray hairs. Though I do have a few gray hairs myself. Whenever someone tells me I look young at work I want to say "well not drinking, doing drugs and smoking nor having a spouse nor kids has a lot to do with not aging so quickly". But I don't say that I just think it.

but is this information important? who knows? but for some wierd reason I enjoyed researching, reporting and confirming anna-banna's observation.

I can sometimes "sound" like a teenager. Look like one?.....people do express disbelief that I'm 52.....and I compensate by saying - "I'm slightly immature" for my age.....heh...heh...

I'm 23 and people ask what grade I'm in. I was just told that even when I put on a suit and my best adult behavior, I look like I'm 16.

Yes. I'm 25, and I still occasionally get carded for cigarettes. When I was drinking, every place I went to to buy beer carded me. According to GuessMyAge.net, the mean age guessed for me is 22.38 years old.

People have thought I was not even 21 (I get carded regularly) and even as young as 18 a few months ago! When I went with my sister to her National Guard get together they tried to enlist me, so sure that I was younger than my sister (who is 12 years younger than me). Once, when I was dating a woman who was only a few years older than me, someone thought she was my mother (and she didn't look old at all). Let's just say that was one of the final nails in our relationship coffin.

Odd, I muse be on of the anomalies to the rule. I'm 14, but people often mistake me to be a few years older. (16-17.)

I'm 37, overweight and have a bald patch. It'd be a stretch, maybe if the person judging was blind..
