oh there's plenty of those people in faith, millie, that's mostly who it's for, but they've repented. that's part of the deal, they're not 'proud' of their former folly, they would ideally have come to see how they were deceived.

Go to familyradio.com and find out where your local Family Radio station is located on the radio. It's mostly Christ-centered music with various programs in between with advice on health, marriage, family, etc... There is also Bible study as well. Just check it out and see if you like it. There is also a program on there called "Open Forum with Howard Camping". He gives a good understanding of the Bible but there is one thing I personally don't like about him. He is insistant on the end of the world being in October 2011 with a rapture of all believers before that time on May 21, 2011. I feel he has the right to share his knowledge of the Bible but no right to giver dates for end times. They call this "eschatology". This is actually forbidden in the Jewish religion. Let us not forget that Jesus was indeed a Jew. Otherwise, Camping's knowledge of the Bible is complete. Nobody's perfect but at least he's not criminal. I found my place in Buddhism. It gave me great peace but I still see a whole lot of wonderful in Jesus Christ. I feel the VERY best part of Family Radio is the program called "Walk with the King" given by the late Dr. Bob Cook. I don't know where you are so you'd have to check out the web site for your station. They broadcast throughout the entire globe even in remote villages.
It's up to you. P.S. You don't really need "a church" to be a Christian.

There is an online version of the OT that is illustrated (using lego blocks), although that said, personally, I do not recommend familiarity with the OT to those hoping to deepen their faith because I cannot for the life of me see how the OT would inspire anything but revulsion.

Seriously. Read about Abraham and have an open mind about it all before going into the new testament stuff. Even if there is no God he/she/it would have enjoyed how he rationalized it all.

Belladonna, do you know which particular christian sect you wanna join? Stay away from the catholic church. Rumor has it Catholic priests like young boys. You should look into the Mormons, they have their own little book called the book of mormon.

There is a rumor that some of the decons like little girls.
