Hi VC :) As you will see, we've been doing an excellent job of keeping this thread alive by trying to kill it.

Good morning to you Lemon, and all my other thread-killing comrades.

It's Friday today, so let's go out into the forums, with the will to thread-kill in our hearts, and slaughter a few before the weekend. :D

Yes. I kinda miss her :) But, to be serious for a moment (serious? In this thread?! 8O  )
I have noticed that as a newbie, I do get 'blanked' more around the forums, except by the long-standing members, of course. So, post count gives some kudos maybe?

The experiment continues... :D

What do you mean by "blanked'' more MerryBerry?

Well, I'll try to describe it. You know when people first join here and not many people talk to them, until they get to know them? And sometimes they post that they feel like they don't fit in and rather ignored? Well, I've always wondered if that was an actual fact, or if it was just that they're new so they feel a bit awkward until they settle down.

It's very difficult to put into words, because it's a more a feeling, but posting as MerryBerry does feel a lot different to posting as Starr. MerryBerry is more anyonymous, people don't talk to her as much, (I don't mean by friends here,) she is not quoted very often in other people's posts...does that make sense to you Thyme?
Do you feel a difference in reactions to you since you changed your username? You and I are in a similar position regarding this, so I'd be very interested to know if you feel the same way about it.

I admit I don't read all posts, especially in topics that have a lot. I skim or skip to users I recognise.

what makes you think so, Ticker ?

if people don't react by posting doesn't really mean they are ignoring you, i know it does feel that way, and i force myself to write a little sentence or sometimes even just a smile or so, but i'm so very bad at it.
i suppose you never realised that i always notice you, i like the sound of your name and some kind of joy you have in your messages. there are more people at wp i always enjoy reading but
which i might not have expressed explicitly. but maybe wp lasts at least some hundred years
:D

Cause seems like people say bad things about me on here or constantly say I am all wrong in my viewpoint. I have endured an unreasonable bit of harrassing from a select few here as of late. Also I don't project the cutsy lovable kind of personality online that some of the other females do. Sometimes I will put a great deal of thought and effort into what I thought was good response only to have no one even seem to notice I posted and they don't respond to what I wrote. Does that make sense?

PS: Lemon what is your avatar? I like it. At first I thought it was like the old Batman symbol. Like when I was a kid they had the t-shirts with the Batman black bat symbol on a yellow background. But then I looked again at your avatar and it looks like the skin of an old biplane that has rips in it.
