Actually, many animals are born totally helpless and dependent on their parents. Many birds, cats, primates, etc., come out blind or furless/featherless, unable to raise their heads or whatever... They mature faster, usually though, so their periods of helplessness are much shorter and not as pronounced. Many animals that walk/run quicly after birth do so out of necessity--- a baby zebra must be quick to get up, otherwise the lioness will quickly kill it to feed her cubs ( which start out pretty small and helpless). Baby snakes must take care of themselves right after birth, so they're not helpless at all...

Dress up in a nurse's uniform and ask her if she'd like to play doctors and nurses? :)

If everything is made up of molecules, why can we see through the molecules in glass, but not wood?

If there were aliens who were smart enough to build intergalactic craft to come here, why do they always leave their landing lights on??

Why are all the people who write editorials in the newspaper such drooling morons???

Why does the average digital camera have about ten thousand more functions than I need????

To make the readers feel more intelligent by comparison?

To make you feel inferior, so that you will be prepared for when machines take over the world.

Reported alien landings have always intrigued me.

How come an alien race has the intelligence to build a craft capable of interstellar travel, they travel for millions of light years to earth, only to crash land the craft instead of park it?

Oh, and how come when aliens make their abductions they seem to have a big preference for rednecks?

And finally, on an unrelated note.

How come hollywood films set in England always feature red London buses even though they barely appear on the roads anymore, and the film isn't even set anywhere near London.

(Disclaimer: One or more of the above questions have a high possibility of being rhetorical, though answers from fellow WP members would still be nice)

Only red necks are proud of being anally probed and want to tell the world about it. ;)

Why does the media and pop culture lie so much?
