Here I perform the amazing feat of mixing pancake batter in a cereal bowl:

I took it with the webcam so there is sound, but there's also a terrible glare from the east window. My son is the one in the background talking about World of Warcraft, and my 5 year old is the one screaming at me .

At the beginning I make buttermilk with powdered milk and lemon juice.

Only difference with me is I usually have the corner of a pillow clenched in my fist.

Korppi? Are some of the sawn logs behind you HOLLOW?? Or is it stovepipe?

Yes, they are hollow logs. Old trees that got rotten inside, but the harsh conditions of Lapland kept the outside firm. Some of them were finished by burning inside, but some didn't need even that, just a little scraping.

Good stuff for making artificial nests for birds.

Turning an 8 year old loose with a digital camera....

My son took these. I dump the memory stick and hand him the camera sometimes in the evening...rules are that he decides what to shoot without any peeking or input from mom...he never fails to surprise me, he does pretty good.

Here's an early painting. Back before I decided that Ferraris would bring me a fortune in the art world, I did sea-scapes. I was trying out my impressionist 'chops'.

Yes you could. I can never figure out what they are going to do with it all. It's not the biggest one I have worked on either I have been in a few that were just under 30,000 square feet. My brother has done larger than that. I myself think it's excessive but it pays the bills and they never stop building them so there is always work.
