Some days you can't get into the dino-aspie cafe, all the tables seem to be taken and the noise of all those monologues is deafening.

so here's an alternative venue.

welcome to you both (all)

I didn't know what to call the thread, it's just for if you get tired of school/college/parents discussions, you know, wanna get away from that sort of thing.

i'm not very mature either but i'm 50. it's hard to find the right word.

yaa, mature might be streching it, but if you aren't talking about school or dating or parents or a combo of all three, I am appreciating it!

Well if you say 'adult' people think it's about sex, if you say 'old' people get offended. I don't actually know what to call it. It's for people who get tired of teen-talk.

It's just an alternative to the other thread, which gets awfully busy and it's hard to get a word in there sometimes. we really need our own section but i don't know if that will happen in the near future. so i'm empire building really, trying to expand the number of threads the over 30s would want to participate in.

hopefully there'll be more such threads as time goes by.

Sounds like a whole new Forum is needed.

Cool. It's like a dive. I feel more at home here
already. I can even read the posts, without looking.

ugh that smells like a Billy Joel song. this isn't a piano bar!
it could be wafting up from the carpet, though.

Yeah, cause they're not here, right. I've only been here for 5 minutes and and I love it already.

"The microphone smells like vomit" I almost wet my pants. You know us old folks and our lack of bladder control. I hope you won't throw me out on my ear for over aged thinking.

I'll need some more evidence myself.
