I was sexual harrassed by multiple members from a Goverment Department. Has anyone else had such unfornuate experiences?

Can you describe what happened? Why "government department"? Were you arrested for doing something wrong?

No I wasn't arrested. It had nothing to do with the law.

The sexual harrasment was real and it wasn't my imagination.

I'm sorry to hear that. I was harrassed a lot by my peers in school and at church, and to a lesser extent by coworkers.
Is it an ongoing situation (for example, do you work there)? Do you have anyone you can go to for advice?
Don't let anyone try to convince you that it isn't a big deal. It's a horrible and demeaning experience.

Yes it was. I was sexually harrassed by about seven male nurses or doctors. It was real and it has taken me alot to get over.

What exactly happened? Sexual harassment could be anything to a solitary stare that the recipient (or another party) may have misconstrued to gang-rape. It's such a wide term that it needs clarifying.

Just hands all over me, like putting their hands in inappriorate places. Sexual comments, sexy voices and mannerisms. I maintained defensive body language but this seem to make it worse. Sometimes they would shut me in a room and try and corner me, giggle, talk in a soft and sexy voice and treat me as if I was a toddler. I have never been sexually harrased like that before. They was real creeps and the offenders maintained eye contact with each other too.

One creep is bad enough, but when they band together, that's terrifying. Please please please tell me you're not in that situation anymore, and if you are, get the hell out of there in any way that you can. From the way you worded it, it sounds like it's in the past, and I really hope so.

I'm sorry, I hope it isn't insensitive to say that this reminds me of an article I read a long time ago. There was an increasing number of gang rapes in a city near my hometown - the newspaper interviewed some of the perpetrators and a couple psychologists. The psychologists said that men who participate in this kind of activity interact with each other far more than they do their victim, especially by keeping eye contact, because it's not about her, it's about the other men. That's why groups like that are so scary - they're all guilty, so that bonds them together and they rarely stop committing crimes unless something happens to break up the group.

This is the time to call the authorities and have this situation reported. That way, everything can be properly investigated. You will need to interact with more people, but I think that may be the best thing.

Please report them before they do it to someone else next.
