Split Personality

Does being part Autistic part NT leave you feeling that you have a split in your personality?
ie. You can have rational thoughts but you can't help having a hissyfit like a 3 year old!
I have other examples inside my head somewhere - but I can't get to them.
Got any examples yourself? When something is black and white at the same time!

I no longer have hissy fits like a 3 year old. At least in public. I realized how silly they made me look and how silly I was actually being because they were over things that were actually inconsequential in the big scheme of things.

I don't have them in 'public'. I also know how silly I am being - but that's kind of my point. I know it won't achieve anything or change the situation I don't like - but I still meltdown anyway!!
The things that cause me meltdown do not feel inconsequential to me and I have no idea what the 'big scheme of things' is
