Creating Supportive Routines from scratch Question

Does anyone ever forget to eat?
I start off with that question because I am aware I need a routine or structure! I have a kid too and so he would benefit from this.
In the past (pre-aspie awareness) I've created routines and then they've fallen through and not only have I got really distressed and failed but also built up a strong resistance to routines. I was obviously getting advise appropriate to NTs!
Does this stress reduce if the correct routine for an aspie is in place?
I need to know myself, I need a routine and support activites/environmet that works. How do I go about that?
I can't read long articles written by NTs for NTs who are helping aspies find the correct supportive routine. I need to read something short and apt, writeen for me, that has me understand what I require and has me see what must be blindspots to me. Can anyone point me to a book or something online, that can help me support myself in this endavour to know and support myself???
