I told a friend at work. She laughed at me.

I have not dated in 18 years.

Last time I dated there was no internet.

I am nervous about what to do or to say.

I bought a notebook and got on all the dating sites that you don't pay. And I really do mean all.

I wrote down 1 pick up line and tried it one twenty different females. Then I continued for approx 3 hours a night for 4 or 5 weeks straight.

the best one I found is not even a pick up line. What I do is read their bio and somehow manage to write about it or ask about it in my greeting message and that gets the most returns.

So I have finally taught myself how to ask a female out. I just need to now find out how to make a successful date.

I too went through the computer dating sites. I have largely given up and come to the conclusion that a relationship would be too much of a burden. Nonetheless, there are extremely friendly CAMGIRLS out there to keep company with. One can have a visual orgy with the laptop! :P Real dating is perhaps overwhelming.

I've talked to a few people through dating sites. Its always fizzled out when i realised 'i cant really be arsed with doing this/dont know how it works'.

I laughed, Smileybro.
