My autism is not a superpower. It also isn’t some kind of god-forsaken, endless fountain of suffering inflicted on my family. It’s just part of who I am as a person. - Sara Luterman
Out of all posted so far, Ask an Autistic aka Amythest Schaber would be my favorite. I can't really say exactly what it is, but The Aspie World isn't one of my favorites.

Agree, he talks too fast. His channel was one of the first I used to watch but rarely do anymore. Amethyst is cool and smart.
^ Yes, I think that's it. His rapid speech and seemingly hyper energy is slightly draining for me to watch. Maybe he's not like that in real life. Maybe he's overcompensating without realizing it. Who knows.

I have no doubt those channels help some people . For me,personally, though, I struggle to identify with such media confident , obviously high/very high functioning, types .

Same here. I'm not outgoing, fast talking, etc... I tend to relate to supernerds or closer to level 1.5-2. Aspfromthe inside is closer to what I am.

I'd say Aspie from the inside and Amethyst are the ones I can identify with most . Some of them come over like method actors portraying someone on the spectrum .

Yeah it's kind of weird. I know what you mean bc I see the same thing once in a while.

NT Hubby here.
Yo Samdy Sam has been a kindred connection for my wife, who was FINALLY diagnosed in December 2019. Also an incredibly clever take on her name(unless you've never heard of Yosemite Sam).
