My ego would like a funeral like the Pope's, but my rational side wants my body left somewhere for vultures or coyotes or whatever to eat (after any good organs have been given to peeps who need them).

Let's gather everyone together who knows no one would come to their funeral. Then we'll have a system so that we are notified whenever someone on that list dies so that we can go to their funeral. That way we can at least feel like we can face death knowing that someone noticed.

I don't want one, but my daughters (2 of the 3) say it is important to them (the third is aspie, too, and says it wouldn't matter. LOL)

So, we negotiated. I've set mine up as a graveside service, wooden casket (pine box), favorite tunes, followed by a toast to good memories (of me) and future health (theirs).

I can live with that.
