I went to University in 2004. I have much sympathy for the 2012-13 cohort, especially £9k Plan 2. If had your time again would you still go? Has it furthered your career? Are you still paying off your loan? What would you have done instead? My personal view is, I would rather regret and learn than regret never trying.

Curious as to your views and experiences.

College was a waste for me...I have been unemployed ever since college.

If this poll was re-activated, I would vote "Yes".

Had I not gone to uni, I assume that I would likely have gone into constructions or worked on an assembly line, and died of a massive coronary by the age of 50.

As it was, most of my work was in an office or a shop, and my first heart attack in my mid-50s was mild enough to survive with no permanent damage to my heart.
