You know, my friend's grandfather had a lady who'd come and do shopping for him, cook for him, run misc. errands for him. She was on SS disability, and my friend was paying her under the table. Lots of elderly people need help with stuff like that, so it may be a thought for you. That, or babysitting. There are plenty of ways to pad your income under the table.

by law you can make up to $700 a month over the table if you are on ssI and i think its like $900 a month over the table if you are on SSA. under the table gigs are'nt really that hard to get if you are creative and if you want to work an over the table job as well its not that hard really---plus they have income adjusted apt complexs for lower income people and rent subisdy programs through the state.
I am in no way saying to "work" the system but if your autism is making life too miserable trying to hold down a "normal" job there is a plethora of options out their for you.

currently i work part time cleaning buisnesses over the table and i do some under the table stuff off and on when i want a little more extra. I AM legitimately disabled by my illness but I hate not having enough money to pay for my meager wants materially.
