If we lived in a flat 2 dimensional plane of existence we would think that time is the third dimension.

Our mathmatics might not work so well in a different solar system....just saying. I am not an expert though, but I feel like our mathmatics is pretty much limited to what we know and can define......and certainly could not explain the entire universe.

My point was that while physics is a science and is, therefore, an attempt to model reality, mathematics is the study of the consequences of sets of assumptions that do not need to have anything to do with reality.

Math is very important in science, but only as a tool and a means of representation, and for math to be useful in science, that math must attempt to model reality as well.

Much of mathematics, however, has nothing to do with science and is more of an artform than a tool.

But for a teacher to slam an autistic child and to denounce him as being mentally ill for living in his own little world just because of an interest in the fourth dimension is just wrong.

I think autistics suffer for their sanity.

I can agree with this.

A person who does this is a bully or a sadist, but not a teacher.

I know my lfie skills teacher was often mean to my friend. SHe had diagnosed Asperger Syndrome and she had a hard time expressing herself verbally... so she wrote notes a lot. SHe was capable of speech but she couldn't interact socially... so everytime she wrote a note for the teacher and hand it to her... the teacher ripped it from her hands, tore it up into pieces and forced her to tell her what was wrong using her words.

I mean come on... that's so stupid. You can't expect someone who is autistic to tell you verbally, whether she was capable or not... I mean that was her way of doing it in a more comfortable manner than having all sorts of people standing around her and overwhelming her. She even got super angry and wouldn't talk at all... she had meltdowns too and she wouldn't look directly at the teacher, constantly rocking herself back and forth.

That teacher even treated me really bad too. I mean it was my first year in that class yet she treated me like I had been in the class before... it was like, all the ones who had hidden disabilities, had to be a rolemodel to the ones who had down syndrome or looked severely handicapped. It was dumb because we weren't in that class to do that but to also get help just like the others. We treated like we didn't have disabilities while the others were being helped left and right.

The problem is though is not that the teacher slammed you for being different but gave you a D because you didn't focus on the subject. They aren't the same things. :/ You didn't say that the teacher denounced you at all. You said the teacher gave you a D. That isn't doenouncing.

Okay the question is did my Math teacher alter my test scores to deliberately defraud ,me of a grade? The answer is no.
However that still does not mean I received a fair grade.

Look at it this way Einstein when he went to College, he only received C grades that were based solely on his ability to memorize and retain information. Einstein never got any College credit whatsoever for his brilliant imagination but rather was disregarded for being in his own little world.

Now look at the consequences. What this means is autistic people like Einstein can never become Medical Doctors because they are not and can never be straight A students. What this means is that the hypocritical Albert Einstein school of medicine would never accept Einstein as one of their students because C grades are considered below average performance.

The surprising thing is that too many Autistics are perfectly satisfied with this unfair status quo because they bought into this lie from the medical establishment that autism is this disease that must be eradicated rather than a neurological difference with certain advantages pertaining to brilliant imaginative thinking.

Yes it did. You got judged on what you were being judged about. That doesn't mean that you were robbed and told you were an ass.

The problem though is that you were using this as an excuse to claim that other people were calling you a nutjob, which they weren't. Stop taking other people's criticism so personally. You are putting their actual feelings about you out of proportion. As for Einstein, I prefer that you actually proved to be stellar before comparing yourself to einstein.

Look at it this way if I showed up at a job and I got my tools stolen and I was fired for not getting any work done would that be fair?

If you showed up at a job and was asked to build windows and then decided to not listen to anyone else and try and make doors do you think it would be fair to just let people do what you want?

Neurotypical people get away with it all of the time. If a Neurotypical builds a door a Boss assumes that maybe he ran out of materials to build windows so he is just trying to keep busy. If an autistic builds a door this is an act of defiance that must be punished. It's all about mind control and has nothing to do with assigned tasks.

Er... no. If you don't do what you're hired to do, NT or Aspie, you're gunna get questioned about it, and disiplined if its your fault.

No it isn't, stop trying to defend autistics. You'll get punished if you do something wrong, doesn't matter if you're normal or messed up.
