Not really. Better hygiene, advancements in both 'mainstream' and complementary/traditional medicines and therapies, natural recession of various viruses, better understanding of both the human body and ways in which it fights diseases, advancements in the treatment OF various viruses and understanding of how they work, improved living conditions... etc etc... the list goes on...

Oddly enough, vaccine-preventable diseases (especially polio) were not really an issue until we developed "better" hygeine.

Not the full truth.

We died over the course of millions upon millions of years without vaccines.

You wish to return us to that state of regular pandemics, deaths, disfigurements, disabilities, by saying that you will selfishly not vaccinate and coming up with all your specious arguments about toxins, etc.

The reality remains. A good percentage of vaccination, and the diseases are controlled. Drop that percentage, and more people will die. The fact that you wilfully wish to disregard this qualifies as a crime, in my mind.

Let's see, parent's have been implicated, then vaccines, and now genes.

And if that turns out not to be true, I wonder what will be implicated next.

I can just see the reports:

In a recent study, doornobs have been found to cause autism. Out of 80,000 autistic children tested, 100% were found to use doornobs to open doors. Scientists are now studying how healthy doornob turning is, and are advising parents to strongly encourage their children not to touch them when they want to go outside. Instead, they recommend breaking a window and leaving it broken.

NTs would all have to start wearing those waistband sterilizer dispensers. 8O


And books would appear all over the country about how turning doornobs is unhealthy.

And PSAs would be released saying "Don't turn those knobs!! !"

Oh, and diet pills would have to become 100x's stronger.


I must admit the diet pill comment whizzed well over my head. 80


Oh, and something to stop children from turning knobs.

I'd rather get vaccinated, than be violently sick, every two years, if I was a child. I think the reason that the symptoms pronounce themselves, in a more noticeable way, is because the child is traumatized by the memories of getting that needle, and not because of the mercury that is in those syringes. Children on the Spectrum are naturally going to be more traumatized, by things, such as needles and blood. It's a fact of life. It's not the stuff in the syringes, it's the memories that haunt the precious Spectrum children.

My reasons that I think that it should be considered a hate crime, is because I feel that God wants everybody to be, as they are. I feel that everybody that's conceived has their own special purpose on this planet. There's now prenatal testing for autism, and I feel that an unborn baby should not be aborted, just because there's a good chance that it could be born with an ASD. Many expectant parents might assume the worse about how their baby is going to develop, and weather that baby is going to reach all of the milestones, and at what pace. Those parents might only know about LFA, and it would be a terrible waste, if an unborn child with autism was to be aborted, because there might be no telling, how far that child might have gone. If the child turns out to have AS, or HFA, that's wonderful, and if those parents chose not to abort that child, they'd be very proud. If the child turns out to have MFA or LFA, than they will have a special person in their lives, which whom they will learn from, not to take everything for granted. Those are my reasons, for thinking that eradicating Autism should be a hate crime.

You know, the bible tells us that everyone HAS to be different.

One of the letters of Paul compairs the different Christians there were at his time to the body of Christ.

Some people would be the eyes, others the ears, others hands and feet, etc.

Then, he asks, if all were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be. And if all were an ear, where would the sense of smell be.

And I think right now the rest of humanity needs to ask these questions. If we were all born the same, and had the same abilities, how would we discover anything? Or create anything?

Oh... wow. I wish I hadn't done that. I noticed that in my quote, I had written "an nose" instead of "a nose", so I corrected it...
