Of course I'll be isolated of you don't consider me a human being.
Maybe you would like to raise me as a pet?

I already said we should.

the core of what it is to be human? I thought the core of being human was to be evil and attack what is different?

More and more, it seems like people are forgetting what makes humans human. It seems like we must all walk, talk, and act the same. We with autism are puzzles, or cats, and I hate it. I think what makes us human is that we are capable of the most horrible cruelty and the most sincere kindness, and that we are all able to choose between the two. Autism does not make us disturbed cat puzzles, or anything similar.

Sorry, that was a bit of a rant XD.

"Mind Blindness" is the term that disturbs me. People with ASDs aren't mind-blinded at all. If anything, NTs are blind to those with ASDs. I dislike that term because it suggests something akin to stupidity or ignorance. Just because some of us aren't able to read the complicated NT dance of facial expressions, tone of voice and body language doesn't mean we're mentally deficient. "Social invisibility" might be a better term. As far as most NTs I know are concerned, I might as well be invisible.

So true, and my life might not be quite so difficult if far more so-called NTs could learn to do that!

Damn right! Damn right! 8)

I am looking for tolerance and a feeling of inclusion. It would be nice if they actually consulted me a bit more about what I want and what would work well for me.

I've been saying that ever since I was diagnosed with AS!

I used to work for a man who is an exception, but yes, many "NTs" seem quite unable to even begin to comprehend or understand certain others of us even when they (the so-called "NTs") nevertheless actually do seem at least a bit curious and maybe even somewhat willing to actually consider even the mere possibility of someone thinking "outside [their] box" as quite normal among wide-eyed people like us.
