I'm confused. There's already a movie called The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo that came out not long ago. In fact, we sell it where i work and it's in the new release section.. I haven't seen it, though. Is another movie coming out with the same name?

Maybe it's a remake.

Yea it's a remake because Americans can't stand movies made by others than Americans.

Stop stealing out movies! Grr, LOL.

Rooney Mara Is Lisbeth Salander: 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' Casting Confirmed
Posted 20 hrs ago by Adam Rosenberg in News

Following weeks of speculation, it's official: Rooney Mara has joined the cast of David Fincher's adaptation of Stieg Larsson's novel, "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," a studio press release confirms. Mara takes the lead female role of Lisbeth Salander, the Asperger's-afflicted computer hacker at the center of the story.

Mara beat out a number of big names for the part. It was originally reported that Fincher very much wanted Natalie Portman for the role, but for whatever reason -- most likely her own busy schedule -- the offer was declined. A number of other names have popped up since then. Mara's name emerged among a list of reported contenders that also included Emily Browning, Sarah Snook, Sophie Lowe, Lea Seydoux and, most recently, Scarlett Johansson. Mara got the gig though; she's a great choice, striking the right balance between a recognizable name and the young up-and-comer "type" that Fincher supposedly wanted. Mara joins star Daniel Craig, who was previously confirmed for the male lead role of Mikael Blomkvist.

What do you think of the casting? Is Mara the right person to play Salander?
