It gets to the point where some people ascribe every single eccentricity about themselves to their Aspergers, I think.
I'm a redheaded leftie. ASPERGERS! I have a MASSIVE forehead! ASPERGERS!

I believe a lot of people think we that have Asperger's/autism are all very similar. But in reality, I believe we on the autism spectrum are vastly different. No two of us are alike. Just like with NTs, some of us are introverted, while others are extroverted. Some of us are good at writing, and others are good at math. Some of us have sensory issues, while others do not have sensory issues. Etc.

Some people on the autism spectrum want a cure. I, like many others, do not want a cure. But I definitely respect the views of those who do want a cure---that is each person's right. We on the autism spectrum often debate what it is that caused us to be autistic. So, we are a very much individuals and cannot be stereotyped as all being a certain way. Some of us see autism as a gift, while others see autism as not a gift. Some of us see autism as a difference, while others see autism as a disorder, etc. It is a myth that we on the autism spectrum are all similar.
