just as a thought, if you desire to start a debate on a specific issue and would like to outline some groundrules for that debate when you post it as a new thread I don't think anyone would have a problem with that, and there are various topics that i think this would be a very reasonable approach; however to apply it as a general rule would be to limit the openness of the boards.
