Is this the same Freddie Mac that was front and center in the Housing Crisis of 2008?

Yes. it's a registered trademark, no other corporation has it.

If you are a recent college graduate, it would definitely be worth putting your resume in, I think. Sounds like you would be at least minimally qualified according to the qualification requirments, with your minor in economics.

A degree of somekind is required associated with the qualifications listed, or a degree not assocated with the qualifications and in addition experience that fulfills the minimally required qualification requirements, of which economics is one.

From your verbiage, it sounds like you are still in college; they ask for recent college graduates, so if you haven't graduated yet, you wouldn't meet that part of what they are asking for.

In case you don't know them already, there is a UK company which employs autistics in IT roles.
Here is their website: http://www.specialisternescotland.org/

Specialisterne (Danish: “the specialists”) is a socially innovative IT software testing company where most of the employees are high-functioning people on the autism spectrum. In 2010, the Danish company took the Specialisterne model to Scotland and Iceland.

I know three aspies who work at Specialisterne in Glasgow's city centre. I think for applicants, there’s a period of many interviews and tests followed by a four-month probationary period. Those who pass join a small friendly aspie workforce who are rewarded with a professional salary. As far as I know, there are no aspies in senior positions of employment yet.

No, I'm a recent grad. I graduated in May. Just still not used to the terminology. I'm job-hunting right now.

I suggest you send in a resume. Sounds like you meet the minimum qualifications to me with your minor in economics.

Gagh, wait, one other thing I just realized - I probably need a clinical diagnosis, right? I'm diagnosed with ADHD, although the psychologist at the time noted the similarity with AS and that my family has a history of AS, as well as suggesting treatment along similar lines to AS (although I take ADHD meds). In spite of that, I lack an official diagnosis. Would that disqualify me?

I couldn't hurt to send in your resume, and explain these details on it. The ASAN organization does support neurodiversity as one that comprises individuals with ADHD, as well. They are looking for people on the autism spectrum, but who knows you might be one of only a few individuals that applies, and is minimally qualified. Give it a shot. If nothing else it'll be a practice run for something else.
