Again, to clarify, no legal threats were made. However, WP and AS are really rather close, so one getting the other to do them a favour isn't exactly difficult.

It happened last year. I was pissed off last year. WP and Autism Speaks no longer seem to be engaging in such censorship, they've learnt the error of their ways. Why would I still be pissed off?

This is not true. None of your posts were removed because of Autism Speaks.

Your post was removed because it contained Nazi imagery and nasty personal attacks on a few members of Wrong Planet who happened to be associated with Autism Speaks. They reported the thread and it was removed just as any other thread would be. Autism Speaks has no editorial influence on WP and never has. Everyone is protected equally by the forum rules.

If I were you, I'd be careful about making false claims, Asp-Z. People will stop believing anything you say.

how were these members associated to autism speaks? did asp-Z personally attack these members by name or autism speaks?

There were no personal attacks, Alex. The thread contained a copy/pasted article from a parody news site. Parody news articles have to use real names for the satire to actually work. I then put a notice after the quoted article stating the entire thing was satire; pure fiction. When the thread was removed, I received a PM from a moderator telling me it was removed because someone at Autism Speaks complained about it. Any later discussions about the incident were then removed from WP.

As I said, though, I hold no grudge. You've not removed my recent posts on the subject and even Autism Speaks seem to be playing nice these days (as long as their PR reflects their true intentions, anyway). So I'm not attacking anyone for anything. I merely mentioned the incident in another thread, so aspie48 decided to see if Autism Speaks would still censor Aspie views. As it happens, it doesn't appear they do.

i'd say the test is still running. but, so far i haven't been bothered by anybody.
