I am interested in autism activism because child abuse (along with animal abuse) and its prevention is a sore question for me, as well as manipulative behavior, and this whole issue is more tied up with these things than I can begin to describe.

I can only get this far in researching it, though. I literally can't read most of the texts available online on the subject because they instantly make me sick. Maybe it would be a little easier if I didn't have such a graphic visual imagination. But I do, and I can imagine some things WAY TOO WELL. It is enough for me, and I do not want to set myself off on purpose by continuing to read about it, because I cannot change anything at this point.

This has nothing to do with any issues I personally have, or with whether or not I am on the spectrum. Even if I knew for sure I were not AS, I would still feel strongly about it.

Because I'm not the one who is harming whomever is being harmed; I don't like harming people, but I don't go out of my way to meddle in the affairs of others, mainly because I don't care.
