they were saying he has Aspergers on the vid and saying "he's not ret*d" then being ret*d.

He said he had Assburgers, not Aspergers. It was a condition he can't stop farting. Get it?
Every time he farted, a hamburger came out.

I find it horribly offensive and upsetting.

it depend how offensive it is like a boy at my has AS, his dad says "ASS-BURGERS" as in donkey burgers. A boy from a youth club group says "We're burgered up." These two are not offensive.

But someone from DeviantArt insulted my deviation, saying I don't make sense (it is true, I don't sense) but I told I have a learning difficulty. She has a live journal account, one the journal was when she was angry (she's cynical) about my work, she said "ASSBURGER".

It is way people say it, might make it offensive .

I would have to look at this on the potential it has to inflict harm on the Asperger community. And I am sure that "Assburger" is probably the oldest joke around when it came to Asperger's Syndrome.

I wrote a nasty comment and flagged it as inappropriate on youtube. It portrays people with aspergers in a negative, foolish and ret*d light. ret*d and aspie is a contradiction in terms, but the video deceives people into thinking that they are the same.

Bad, bad, baddddd.

I thought that the film was distasteful but only because I don't like fart jokes. It wasn't meant to be an attack on people with ASPERGERS at all, just making a joke about a different (but similar sounding) fake conditions. For goodness sakes, he was farting burgers out of his ass, how does that offend us? I had a look at some of the others and they are quite amusing!

If everyone here flags it as inappropriate, youtube might take it down.

It mocks people with aspergers plain and simple. It needs to be removed. Unfortunately, most of the people who replied after my comment all said that it was OK to mock people with autism.

They weren't mocking us. They were mocking the name, making a joke out of it. Get it, "Ass-Burgers." It does sound like that when some people say "Aspergers." Didn't you even watch the whole clip? The guy was farting out hamburgers. That was his disability.

Yes I did watch the whole thing. It was mocking both people with aspergers and people with downs syndrome.

I fail to see how this is offensive to anyone.

Dude, did you even read the movie info?

If they were truly mocking us, then why deliberately spell the name wrong, why have the DS guy fart out hamburgers? What does that have to do with AS?

This was the movie info:

Quote:
Before you leave mean comments, just know that our friend Ponce (the Cop) is an awesome and talented young dude who loves performing and making light of his Down syndrome. He's a smart and funny guy, and has complete awareness of his actions and decisions. And we all have an awesome time shooting "ret*d Policeman!" Also, it is a widely accepted fact that Assburgers Syndrome is hilarious, but Asperger's Syndrome is not.

Please don't tell me you couldn't understand it. I thought it was literal enough for everyone to understand. Either people are idiots or they just didn't read that info.

Either they didn't read the movie info or they were too stupid to understand it. It was written in literal.
