Alright, I'm done with these people. I've made my points many times, and they've always been ignored in favour of some kind of evasion or ad hominem attack. I just bade the latest of these people good night.

In a way it was fun seeing just how obstinate and ignorant people can be, but it's time I got some perspective on this; I have much, much better things to do.

Of course, anyone who feels like taking up the torch is welcome to it. I might support you if it seems worthwhile, but for the most part I'm done with this.

I'd much rather stick to this forum.

I gotta love how we're all government agents. Where do they come up with this stuff? Priceless, absolutely priceless. The government definitely has dozens of troll accounts roving across YouTube to debate conspiracy nuts.

you guys may want to just stop arguing with them. they seem to believe you all are undercover government agents, whose job is to debate on youtube about autism

aspiegirl1130 and my family is proof of it being genetic. My cousin has autism, I have aspergers syndrome, Both my parents have aspergers syndrome(of course they went undiagnosed as they were born about 50 years ago.and other relatives of mine show some symtoms of the autistic spectrum, not enough to be condsidered on it but enough to be part of the BAP (Broader Autism Phenotype) if vaccines caused autism almost everyone would be autistic.

aspiegirl1130 :The reason why the diagnoses rate for autistic spectrum disorders have been going up is due to more awareness of autism for 1,& 2 due to the broadening of the diagnostic criteria. there are many children being diagnosed today as autistic who 30 years ago would be diagnosed as either "mentally ret*d", Childhood Schizoprenia, and also many who would have slipped through the cracks and been just considered odd, slow, and/or crazy.

Believe what you want about what causes autism. or what is causing the rise in numbers of those with it, But let me leave you with one last thought

It DOESNT MATTER WHAT CAUSES IT.
what matters is helping those aflicted with the conditions overcome it and live a happy life.

So it matters to you more about what caused it then it matters to you to help your son deal with his sensory issues? Or help him learn to comunicate better? Or how about his happiness? What matters more to you? those things or finding out what caused his autism. You cant change the past. But you can change the future. By helping your son through these things

Trying to reason with vaccine nuts, is kinda like arguing with creationists, some people are just completely immune to logic, so I don't know, if I should waste my time, getting into this, but I'll definetely give some thumbs down and rate the vid.

I also have a "good command of the English language", and it's not even my mother language.

One more vaccine conspiracy theorist has appeared, though he's taking a beating too.

ckretagentman sent me a personal message in which he explained cybeavertoo's silly ad hominem attack on Dr. Offit. Here's the important bit:

He insulted Dr. Offit, but didn't really substantiate anything. If you didn't know, Dr. Offit is a pediatrician who studied immunology, did a fellowship in infectious disease, and invented a rotovirus vaccine to replace a bad one(basically, he's one of the foremost experts in immunology). Some reason, vaccine conspiracy theorists think that because he knows so much, that makes him less of an authority. Yea, they're strange.

Anyway, things are looking a lot better over there now. Not that anyone here should hesitate to contribute any further to all of that.
