My worry isn't that the videos are out there, it's that this is even happening. I think someone really needs to alert the police before these kids get seriously hurt or even killed.
Over reaction - big time.
I dont mean to offend, but I am just wondering why you think the treatment is no big deal? I am trying to look at it from every angle.
Because there are a lot bigger fish to fry, this seems pretty harmless. Plus there is a rational explanation as to how this may work - look up hypnosis.
Unfortantly this has nothing to do with hypnosis, and that is not a reason the parents are using it. Suffocating a kid to the point of almost blacking out is very deadly. Pretty much they put some flawed science behind it to sucker parents into it, then they take all there money. If you still dont believe the effects of it, try putting a small plastic bag to your face and try it yourself, hold it there for a good 60 sec. The effects you feel are not hypnotic, but the co2 levels rapidly killing off brain cells. The effects you feel after are like a narcotic drug. But make sure you have someone on stand by, ready to call a ambulance. Really though you would need someone else to hold it to your face inorder for it to be there long enough, and that person has to just take a guess as to when is enough, they hold it there a little to long, and your going to die.
This isnt any differnt then if the parent held a pillow over the kids face, but they leave off of it right before the kid dies. I do understand though that there are going to be plenty of people that think this is alright no matter what is said.
