Quote:
Neurodiversity mean we Aspergians must accept neurotypical society and its social codes and beg for neurotypicals to accept us as equals. In fact, we do not have to accept them. It is we who are innovative, find new patterns and create universes. If generic neurotypicals had never had help from Aspergians in first place, they would still eat human flesh, mate in plain sight and beat each-other to death with ox skulls.

Why would we want neurotypicals to accept us? They will never do that, because they are unable to accept those who are different. Just look at Yugoslavia. And yet, there is less difference between Serb, Croat and Bosnian than between neurotypical and Aspergian. When our number increases, we will become visible. When we become visible, we will become threat.

We should focus on building Aspergian community for Aspergians, not try to bow down to neurotypicals.

It is not just aspies vs the neurotypicals. There are dyslexics, introverts (which can be considered oppressed especially in countries like the US which is full of extraverts), ADHDers, novelty seekers, synaesthetics and eccentrics. Typically it seems to be the neurotypicals talked about are either extemely extraverted or have great social skill although these both have a connection. There are people that think introversion is a disease (who unsurprisingly are usually extraverts). 8O .

I'm not an austistic supremacist.
I'm not too hot on neurodiversity either.

I never thought that was the point of neurodiversity idea (that we would be superior in some way). To me that is anethema. I thought the idea was that there is nothing wrong with being autistic, that it is a natural but different state. That instead of trying to cure autistic people that there should be better ways of living together, etc.

You might look at neurodiversity dot com (sorry, but I can't give out urls yet). You might also look at wikipedia. Maybe some segments of the neurodiversity moverment would believe the above, but it wouldn't be any I would be interested in.

Honestly by trying to treat NTs like we need to separate them from us is foolish, because humanity is splintered enough without us trying to 'escape' from them too.

Now me and my friend Ben both kind of view ourselves as aspie gods, we love being aspies and treat NTs like would treat anyone, we only kind of act superior when they start to treat us like ret*ds, which is often the best route because we outsmart and by extension humiliate them. The thing about it is that i'm pretty damn sure that aspergers very well could be say another evolutionary advantage, because of the benefits it can provide, the thing is that if we try to get away from NTs what use is that? So what we build like a new nation/planet whatever, but that's just pointless when we can stay here and be ourselves, they have no right to treat us badly for being different, we have no right to call them inferior (except as I stated before, dickheads do deserver it).

Awww look at the ickle supremest, isn't that mad paranoia kuute!

Why are people treating this seriously, its patently ridiculous. Diversity is strength, evolutionary biology 101.

By splitting away and living as a group we'd only be making us more targetable. If they did decide to "holocaust" us, how convenient would it be for them if we all lived in the city, with no NT's as collateral damage? That's just asking to be bombed.

should be able to just be I agree... if only the world were more accepting, the tide is turning I feel, but it could take a tidal wave 8O

I'd say to grow a pair and accept things for how they are. You will always get nastiness, it's part of human nature.

I actually tend to agree with the separation theory here. Although I'm not saying we need World War III here or anything, I don't think humans and Aspies actually CAN live side by side... not for very long anyway. Keeping us mixed together is just going to cause problems.
Adolf Hitler once said that "mixing races kills races". Although I am NOT a neo-Nazi or anything, I believe that statement held a lot of truth. If you, for instance, continually breed two species of cats together, what happens? Their gene pool becomes so diluted that only one race exists - the fusion.
Quite personally, I say this could go any number of ways.
Humans and Aspergians could go to war.
Humans could wipe us out
We could wipe them out
We exist together and kill both gene pools in favor of a Human/Aspie Fusion
We exist together with breeding restrictions (<--UNCOOL)
...probably others
I, for one, support Aspergian Superiority, but not SUPREMACY. I think we can think faster, process data better, adapt quicker, and function better amongst our own kind than humans ever would. But I don't believe we need to go out there and dominate them all.

Oh trust me, I think we're the farthest thing from a base Human there is while still retaining the image. This is a very good thing in my opinion.

"Our world has seen many sacrifices. And yet humans have committed the same offense. And they will again. Those who eat away and ruin this world… Those who would change the world for their own continued existence… They are apostles of destruction greater than any other. As long as humans rule, they will commit the same offense time and again. If that happens their hearts will grow wild, and the future will be even more painful. The future must be protected. If not, destruction awaits."

Nevertheless, I still believe the very best. There are far more universals between us than division points.

Universals? Such as? Forgive me, but I do not understand your use of 'universals'. If you mean similarities, I find very few besides basic biology and appearance. I will always consider myself Aspergian, rather than Human.

Bring on the Fusion! Chances are, it wouldn't occur. Autistic traits would increase in the population, till Nties are Aspies. Indeed, that is happening already. We need to breed with baseline humans, or our genome will sicken and die.

I do not want to see a Holocaust. I want to see JRC bombed. I want to see the people tortured there holding the buttons, with the staff wearing the electric backpacks with wires attached to them.

I want to see a Haven, preferably in the Air (Airhaven). I want to see a place where we won't be oppressed by society.

All you who wish to coexist. So do I, but I feel we cannot while living in the same area, unless all have some autistic traits and recognise them.

My partner, my immediate family and nearly all of my friends are NTs. I do not want to do away with them (if that was even possible, which it is not - an absurd idea) at all. Diversity is a good thing, in my opinion.

8O yikes, you do realize how much many of you sound like Nazi's talking about Jews in the 1940's right? (I would say something more historically intelligent if I was more knowledgeable is this area - but you get the point)

Ok first - no one person or race or neurology or skin colour or whatever other ridiculous divisive labeling people might come up with is inherently superior to the others. And if you believe that, then by definition you're narrow minded (only seeing things from a limited perspective - which I guess can be an aspie problem to be fair).

Second - we are all human, and every single person on earth is an individual (no one person is the same). Labels like NT (for all people born without the particular differences associated with AS) are used for convenience and necessity, but should not be taken literally.

Thirdly, what on earth makes aspies inherently superior to other people? Some aspies have strengths most people don't have, but aspies have weaknesses to. Believe it or not, communication skills is a strength equally valid to, say, computer programming.

Anyone who believes in this so called aspie supremacy is doing both themselves and others a disservice - and this sort of thing can lead to much darker, nastier, incidents (Ku Klux Klan anyone?)

I might sound extreme, but you're better off nipping this sort of discrimination in the bud than letting it fester.
