Gallowglass,

I would not personally uphold the history of the Westminster system.

Look what happened to our Irish and Scots.

The Westminster system of parlimentary debate, also supported the rape and killing of indigenous people, across the globe.

It achieved this, by doing nothing to stop it.

The branches of the Westminster system of debate, in Commonwealth countries, continue to dominate the innate sovereignty of Indigenous people, and their natural resourses.

We have a UN bill of rights.

You asked me why I asked someone about their qualifications, because they asked me for mine.

This meaningful debate and effective scrutiny of ideas and theories, was witness to me being called a clown, a joker and correcting my spelling and puncuation. I think this is petty behaviour and I continue to see it that way.
Why would people who have a neurodevelopmental condition, seek to correct others who also have a neurodevelopmental condition that includes learning difficulties.

What people have suggested is that not spelling correctly is equal to low intelligence. I do not mine if people have a higher intelligence.

I have seen other people on the forum being downgraded because of their spelling or argument. Where do people get off degrading people, it speaks of inequality. I can not uphold this at all.

I know that some people did not like the way I introduced myself, that is apparent. But I do not feel I am wrong, I have, what I have.

You have already said that you do not agree! It's OK, I get your message, and I remain positive.

Again, I did not set myself up as an authority and you know that! I only said I was an advocate and that I was a Life Coach! I was then asked about my qualifications/credentials.

What is wrong with that?

So you are here to further an Indigenous agenda rather than one based upon Autism?

You oppose democracy and the rights of the individual? That would explain your stance on free speach.

I think your "deep motivations" are coming out now.

I suspect that the Indigenous people require a better advocate than you. Malcolm Turnbull has a bit more time on his hands at the moment maybe you should ask him.

Your comments are very UnAustralian as are your attitudes to women.

Was your "Art" funded by ATSIC Grants and did ABSTUDY pay for your "education"? Nice to see the Tax payer's money being put to good use and you providing a classic example of biting the hand that feeds you; oh, and what are the chances that the tax payer picks up the bill for your "life coaching"?

Yes, I will be frank. My polictical agender is of three groups Indigenous, Disability and Indigneous Disability.

This is where I find social inequality.

I also find social inequality on this forum. Not everyone agrees with you!

And yes I do speak from the "I". This is what I was taught at my lowly universities.

Please invest in a spell checker you are making all educated Aussies cringe.

How can you get a degree in Communications without being able to write a coherent sentence which is free from basic spelling mistakes?

How can you set yourself up as an "advocate" without a basic grasp of the principles of reasoned debate?

How can you enter into a pluralistic debate, when one of your conditions of entering into the debate is that nobody can question your logic for fear of compromising "social harmony"?

This reduces your credibility to zero.

Some would have individuals with certain kinds of learning disabilities shame away from society. To proud and insecure at the same time they fail to realize hatred ever so evident in them they only believe it would be mutually justified by the masses their projected rationale for hating.

I don't think Art-sung had any sinister motives, so quit nit-picking and trying to read all that stuff into what people post.

just my opinion, do as you will...just seems kind of unfair.

He told me that I can't tell him why he is wrong because he is an adult and you can't find anything wrong? Also thinking that just because we're two guys and he's one that we're ganging up on him is quite a big damned logical fallacy sweetleaf. We were lied to many times over. It's clear in excepts from his posts. If anything annoying multiple people for no reason could be a sign that he is doing something wrong, which given what I just said is right.
Also why are you saying that we should chill? Persistence =\= Anger

It appeared there was quite a bit of attacking before that. I just don't see how you think you can always determine who is lying and who is not over a forum...is it so hard to disagree without getting personal.

Pluralistic debate in context can be best defined as a need for dynamic reasoning in critical thinking skills. To debate subjectively one must denote individualistic rationale vs a collectives rights and responsibilities. Hence of recent conflict is the context of cure and the rationale of identity politics, individual rights to treatment advancements and the meaning of cure when applied strictly to the DSM as in what hinders vs. the oppositions view at times which reflects the identity politic of a disorder and in conjunction with a disorder label which does not denote a collective self. Deriving furthermore deeply we find abortion politics tied to the identity politics and thus a cure is no longer about treatment advancements and rights but that of potential abortion and not individual treatment rights. How can a debate be pluralistic if those debating will not reason with the most obviously found rationality within the macro politic due to fear of loosing an argument or two over an entirely different matter of abortion and or simple social and political identity preference found in some.

The vast many with autism do not associate with autism as a preference of identity nor are involved in these like politics found in these relevant social forums and offline groups.

Agender should rightly have been agenda, my mistake.

Correcting spelling again! Communication comes in various forms, beyond the written word.

We textualise our environment.

We got off to a bad start and things are deteriorating rapidly.

I suggest that you take a break and work out a communications strategy, as per your BA degree, that will further your agenda rather than getting people's backs up.

Throwing your weight around on here is a mistake as many members have developed ,through necessity, very sophisticated anti bully stategies and will react to perceived attempts to ram an agenda in a very robust manner.

At the moment, you are doing the Indigenous cause no good and may create rifts where non existed before.

I perceive you as manipulative as do other members and suggest that you work out how to allay our suspicions.

My advice; take it or leave it.

Art-sung - I have to agree that your posts have struck me as being manipulative.

You have praised excessively, been overly thankful, been inappropriately demanding (e.g. "Don't correct me"), quick to attack, and defensive when there has been no cause.

Post as you wish - everyone does - but I think you should be aware of how you seem to some of us.

Don't be in such a hurry to get into the thick of things. Browse through the forums and post occasionally at first.

I don't react at all well to manipulation. I am trying to keep this characteristic in check while posting here. I have only posted once before in response to one of your posts. I am not trying to pile on.

Please consider these words as being well-intended and constructive.

I have found people are treated suspiciously as a result of pre-existing agendas on both sides. That's how I was re-introduced to aspie pride movement. I was accused of things I didn't even mention. Until you conform certain factions will attack. How I've challenged it is by dishing it back out and in a way that protects myself in my life as well as others. Individuality is a must and not any collective modality which is why I can certainly agree with a majority of autism prides rationality excluding the more so political aspects and can understand the cure idea when thinking about both logically. A self-integrity and self-respect is important but not at the expense of individual rights and also when in context to unrelated mainstream political matters. The majority of the pride base of logic is built into the law already the way I see it and so is the cure approach. Neither can supersede one another entirely unless ones side was to collective go to far against the other but still those fundamental freedoms persist on both sides.

At some point both sides ought to come to realize they simply cannot politically advance anymore against one another and find anymore successes.
