Ive read, both posts and the info sites linked about Autism Speaks And really only have one thing to say.



Companies only change how they work if their top staff is replaced, otherwise its the same veiwpoint still at work no matter what they say, the prevalent viewpoint of AS needing a cure now just makes me laugh, lets take someone from the US, randomly stick them in a tribe in the amazon and see how well they function "Socially", the basis of judgement regarding many "Disorders" is unfortunately and unintentionally biased because the "Normal" baseline is a single sector of humanity.

You'll not find me supporting ANY "not for profit" organisation with a history like Autism Speaks, disregarding a Right in order to preserve a Right is faulty logic, "supporting" a section of community then bullying when that section doesn't "behave" how you want, isn't supporting it at all.

Let us all conform to Normalcy so we're no longer poked, prodded, bullied and viewed as defective..
