Unfortunately for nonentity the Autsim Speaks advocates have been marketing us as a bunch of disabled boderline ret*ds so no wonder we are the first ones to be fired. Only when we autistics are presented as workers with unique creative gifts and talents will we ever be able to command respect on the job.

Pride seems to me to show the most intolerance then that of the common mainstream individual.

You see ci, there are people that hate us. I was saying that if he sets up such a company it would only serve as a reason for them to highlight this and draw the support of more people against people like us and with good reason. I then said that if he really wants to create a company then I hope he would do it in an environment where only we exist for then he wouldn't be actually discriminating

You should try asking first rather than making accusations.

Actually I have a company just like that. Yet the use of the R word and the insecurity of the co-existence with intellectually different folks by some is counter productive. The R word makes others out to be inferior especially in context to this conversation. I didn't have to assume anything. Some of the worse kinds of leadership philosophies are expressed by pride advocates mixed in with some common sense good advocacy. It's just that the good advocacy is not well greeted by others when combined with and may counter it when used with the very bad expressions.

Yes the autistic pride movement should be intolerant of employment discrimination against us.

Well sure but discriminating against others is a no go.

That sort of retaliation will just get a horde of ret*d a**holes crying foul. Maybe you should set in a place where there are only people like that.

It would be a double standard to expect respect and not give it at the same time. The "R" word is a foul word in the developmental disability community. So yes a form of reverse hatred but I wanted you to explain yourself.

You didn't want me to explain myself. You just wanted to insult me because you interpreted my words as hatred.

I was hoping you would find a way out of it or simply apologize and go oops..

Here is a video for you. Again I do not hate you personally and I am sure despite the use of the word you are a great person and it was a mistake made in anger.

You were accusing me of making hate speech against NTs. You misread what I said. You should apologize.

I have clearly spoken my intentions but you are free to have suppositions all you like.

In part yes but I think you are just frustrated. When people are upset rather then simply just stereo-typically focused in rationale they can still say off the wall things. I do not propose you hate people with cognitive differences or actually hate the vast majority of people. I just think you may be upset and so a better choice of words in advocacy can improve outcomes such as not using the R word.

If for instance you and some of the other pride people were to persist with the usage of the R word yes I'd officially classify you and them haters with hate speeches. Ultimately I think there are very good approaches and very bad approaches to resolve equality issues. I would not choose your approach and some others if this R word usage were to persist.
