watch the video of extradited asperger sufferer Talha Ahan
You are wrong. Talha Ahsan and his campaigners have been fighting to PUT HIM ON TRIAL IN A BRITISH COURT OF LAW. At no time has he tried to use Asperger syndrome as a get out of jail card.
What has happened last year is an extreme example of double standards in justice. Asperger syndrome was the one and only reason why Theresa May decided to block the extradition of Gary McKinnon but shortly beforehand she approved of the extradition of Talha Ahsan.
Let's compare this person to John McCain, for example. McCain supported Chechen rebels and spoke of going toe to toe with the Russkies over that, this guy just had a website where there was support for Chechen rebels.
The US government makes incredibly overblown accusations when it comes to terrorism. With those FBI manufactured productions where they target vulnerable people (the so-called stings) they always claim a plot to explode a "weapon of mass destruction", which means a simple bomb though before that expression was used to describe chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. People are accused of "material support for terrorism" by merely expressing support for the same cause that a listed terrorist group is pursuing. Rudolf Giuliani must be locked up on that charge at once for his open support for the listed group MEK. Naturally they won't do that. The laws here are just weapons to be used against people they don't like. That they go after this completely harmless person with the Asperger Syndrome shows how disgustingly predatory they are. They attacked someone with Schizoaffective Disorder for one those FBI terrorism productions. The lowest in humanity they are.
Let's take the Dorner case. Does that not blow the cover off them and expose them as a bunch of snivelling cowards? They can't take someone on who can fight back, they are used to going to war with the most marginalised, the most troubled, the most vulnerable people. They were so scared that, just listened to the frenzied demands to burn down the cabin in which they thought he was. They would have dropped a nuke on the whole area had they had the chance, what incredible cowards.
The lack of replies to this topic further reinforces my findings that Talha Ahsan is an obscure and largely unheard of individual in the United States as opposed to a high profile terrorist of the Bin Laden variety with a name and face recognised by every American in the street.
Investigations have revealed that there has been virtually no mention of Talha Ahsan in the American media during his years whilst he was detailed in a British prison awaiting extradition which probably explains why very few Americans have heard of him. The Connecticut Post ran a couple of articles on him and Babar Ahmad in October 2012 but the rest of the American Media has yet to report on him.
Despite this near silence from American newspapers and TV news, the most hard-hitting criticism of the decision of the ECHR approving the extradition of Babar Ahmad and Talha Ahsan is published in an American magazine The Nation. The article clearly exposes the brutal conditions inside American supermax prisons which the British media have only touched on.
If anybody on WP - on either side of the Atlantic - is unfamiliar with Talha Ahsan then I strongly recommend that you read the concise summary of his case on the Asperger Home Education website before jumping to any conclusions. Talha's brother Hamja publishes the latest updates on the campaign on his blog.
