They are not "better" or "worse" than for aspies.

If most people had Asperger's, Neurotypical behaviour would have been a problem.

If most people had Asperger's, we would most likely not have had the same inequalities, irrational problems or environmental degradation.

Most NT;s are interested in earning money and having sex.

Most aspies are in love with their specialisation... for the sake of the specialisation itself.

Where do you get that information from? It's hard (impossible?) to get sources these days that include all ASDs and all levels of IQ.

There are a lot of NT;s who are mentally challenged as well. A lot of them have very low IQ for example.

To say 'a lot' is statistically untrue.

Oh goodness... I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this topic. I don't know where on earth you got the idea that we would regress to primitivity without Aspies or that we would still be cavemen if not for people with ASD progressing us forward.

For a start, there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that autism was present in our ancestors. It may well be a far more recent condition. And if it did exist, the people afflicted by it would have died out even sooner than the usual short lifespan due to the social disabilities that AS encompasses.

Secondly - it's laughable to think that every single great thinker or inventor had AS! People - even NT people - can be eccentric, odd, and have unusually deep interests. It doesn't make them AS. It just makes them idiosyncratic, because everyone is different.

Please, stop attacking the NT populance at large. They are far more adaptable and creative and encompassing than you give them credit for.

NT;s obviously do not know how to handle advanced societies in an optimal way.

Otherwise, we would'nt have had homeless, unnecessary products and gross waste of resources.

We would'nt have had wars, or crime.

If you open up a biography of any great inventor, from Archimedes, to Newton, Einstein and Da Vinci, you could realise that they would have been diagnosed as "disabled" people had they lived today.

People in large numbers do silly things. If 95% of the world was AS, I believe we would have just as many problems. NTs are not inherently evil, and people with AS are not inherently saint-like. We would still have problems. We might have worse problems because no one would be able to agree on anything, haha. If we all worked on our own things, how would there be anything to hold us together and prevent total chaos? Hm?

Aspies are very good at agreeing with other aspies, if we remove programming by NT society.

If uninhibited by status or prejudices brought by the dominant memes of this societies, I am sure that an aspie civilisation will become a technological paradise and soon the world's powerhouse.

I hate to break it to you, but only a FRACTION of people with AS are technical geniuses. We're not an underground society of savants. We are all just people. Regular people with a few traits in common, but just as unique and different from each other as we are from our NT peers (many of whom are ALSO technical geniuses - just minus the AS).

There is more specialisation towards technical fields within the Aspie community.

If only 2% of us are engineers, it is still very much more than within the NT community.

We also have a much higher incidence of epilepsy, sensory integration dysfunction, dyspraxia etc, and we need far more specialized environments - not one-size-fits-all. There would also, with an increase in the autistic populance - be an increase in the severely autistic. For every problem you take away, you bring in another.

Those things would be a problem, if we get a NT-style capitalist system.

If we create a technocratic system of government, with the automatisation of labour and equal access to resources for everyone, it would not be so much of a problem. The problems will be there, but they could be overcome, and they are less severe than the problems caused by NT-style pack mentality.

I have to wonder where you live and what you've been through to make you so bitter towards society in general. I accept there are problems, but there will always be problems when the wants and needs of 6 billion people on earth have to be taken into consideration. But in most countries that people are posting here from, we are amazingly free and catered for.

I am not bitter, I am just realistic.

Why should an Aspergian accept being labelled as "disabled"?

That would be to say that you are inferior to NT persons, and must accept their leadership.

Why do you have so low self-confidence?
