I wouldn't worry about it; everyone likes to make their reality make sense. If you pay attention you'll notice that Pikajedi and Amy are pretty bad at understanding people, but they're very proud and authoritarian, so you'll see them make ridiculous mistakes and then create stories to justify them. You got caught in the machine but it's not personal. They're just struggling to have their reality make sense.

What exactly do you mean by this?

I would prefer to continue (and hopefully conclude) this discussion with you in public. If you have anything to say to me that you are not willing to say to everyone else, I would prefer simply not to hear it. I don't want to be in the position of having some piece of information that should be public, but not being able to do anything with it because board etiquette dictates that the content of PMs cannot be made public. Please understand that I am not accusing you of anything; I am just covering my back, to use a metaphor.



Who has made threats (direct or veiled) against you in this or any other thread? Which specific examples can you cite? I would like to see quotes, preferably with links, if at all possible.

I would be particularly interested to see any examples of my own posts which you have found threatening. My intention has never been to threaten or bully you. All I have ever done is ask you to clarify points you have made which I found difficult to understand due to your extensive use of metaphor and multiple meaning. Whenever I have asked you for clarification in the past you have responded with vague statements and appeals to my emotions. Vague statements, irony, sarcasm, humour and appeals to emotion may well be an excellent way of communicating with "neurotypicals", but I just find them tiring and frustrating to read and try to figure out the meaning of, especially when your overriding tone seems to me to be rather condescending towards me.

I would like you to respond to this post using the clearest and most direct language possible. Don't try to make me laugh, cry or empathise: just give me the facts as you see them. I do not want there to be any further misunderstanding between us.

I have grown very tired of this conversation.

I am tired of people (not you specifically) wasting their time in attacking me and my family, my intentions, the medications I do or do not take, the validity of my diagnosis, my ambition and opportunism, my girlfriend, etc... I am tired of people stalking me on the Internet, gathering information about my family, girlfriend, and therapist, their previous employment, schools, political views, and knowledge of the autism spectrum.

I am not going to list links because I'm not going to spend my entire life defending myself on the Internet to people who have nothing better to do than make personal attacks.

Once again, I am tired of this conversation.

I don't know how an interview with AS turned into an opportunity to drag my name through the mud. Also, I can't imagine why it was ignored over on AFF.

This is all very silly. If people wish to badmouth me they may do so. I don't think anyone with a lick of sense listens to their hostile ramblings anyway.

As someone who has been on AFF for almost three years, all I am going to say in this conversation is this..

Introducing ideas of interviews with Autism Speaks is a scary thing that we were not ready for. We're sorry for attacking you, we're sorry for the way we reacted...

Anything involving Autism Speaks has been hostile, also if you were still on the forums you would of needed to take awhile for everyone to get used to you.

Some stuff we still don't agree, I still don't agree with Autism Speaks to this day...

Everyones opinions are always going to be different...

Remember that.

We want the same things Genesis. We disagree on how to get them.

Ask yourself, "What do I want for myself and for the autistic community and what is the best way to get it?"
