Neither greater, nor smaller
In reality your remarks do not at all sum up evidence of the effective leadership. I have also proposed several suggestions to you but you just seem to resort to insults and refuse to accommodate for mutual communication differences. Seeming I am not your mind I cannot gauge just how to speak to you. As far as grammar saying someone cannot be a leader for a learning disability reflects poorly on you. Again I welcome you to another post I make about effectively challenging stereotypes. Not to take it on as a leader myself but to teach effective techniques to better resolve disputes with regards.
While I will not be myself perfect and up to your standard I really don't take your judgement seriously as facts within reality differ starkly from your prognosis of myself. I do know however that pride leaderships that merge issues and that create hard feelings to force their views are not effective leaderships. That I know for certain based upon evidence.

Was you dad an Officer or SNCO in the Coast Guard?
Have you asked him for advice on your leadership style?
I recommend that you buy and read some texts on leadership and apply the advice contained within.
I have given up on providing constructive feedback to you because in my view you are too arrogant to listen.
Like I say, I suspect that in a few months you will be alone on this part of the site debating with yourself.
Why yes both my father and I are public advocates and both in the media. He does veterans advocacy I do developmental disability advocacy. And yes I've read about leadership including a military handbook and group dynamics, conflict resolution, risk management, public relations, sociology and so on. When dealing with the tax-payers their are certain approaches that work and some that back fire. With regards to abortion riddled advocacy merged with other issues it's best to leave it be in it's own regard and others have not done so by incorporating it in public relations within ASAN for instance which is center piece in the autism self- advocacy community only partly.
If you want to make a muddy puddle out of this communication I suggest you do so by arguing the facts. If you do not then you are just creating a false belief to suit yourself with regards to me. Again you refuse to make any reasonable effort but desire to instill that because of learning disability I am naturally incapable. It seems very much like what others claim about autism for instance and not being taken seriously or allowed to lead. In a sense poor grammar can effect leadership but does not prevent it. I can guarantee you that I myself won't be here in a few months to discuss these matters as I have other responsibilities as I have already informed a few others.
I can also say with confidence a vast majority of individuals with autism are not like self-advocates online who get into at times these hard core philosophical world-views.

What has abortion got to do with your arrogance and pathetic lack of communication and leadership skills?
What I've been going on about is how advocacy groups which are influential use abortion to create division. Most specifically ASAN. While I'm persistent in declaring such advocacy reckless to protect others I believe it itself as I've said is an arrogant approach to overall autism issues by ASAN. The reversal on me as if I am arrogant when individuals that lead in the name of myself and others muddy the waters and refuse to allow a diversity of opinions within a network that implies it is THE AUTISM Self-Advocacy Network is poorly devised. I suggest you look at how these folks are leading and ask yourself what about the voices of individuals who have nothing to do with them when ASAN leads recklessly politically influencing the perception of the rest of us.
I do believe this to be a sensible reproach to self-advocacy matters in context. I to would like to not be stereotyped by their style. I want to assure others are not as well.

So are you pro or anti abortion?
I am neither, I reckon its a matter for individuals and their circumstances; and who am I to judge?
Ci that's why you need to state your position clearly
I am also neither and desire neutralization of the issue with concern to other issues. My official position in advocacy is it is not part of my job and if others do not agree with the laws to change them. I'm strictly specifically an autism and developmental disability inclusion advocate. I was once accused of being an ASAN over this matter as it has created anger and have had to study the issues. My belief for risk management reasons is to steer clear of ASAN over the merging of the issues with other issues as it has and may continue to taint otherwise really good objectives with hard feelings.
The abortion issues has a domino effect and bias on other issues directly and indirectly.

Eh?
So why did you raise the issue of abortion then?
Do you actually have a coherent and lucid platform?
In risk assessments it became clear that the issue of abortion as a whole conflicts with other human rights agenda's. As far as a lucid platform it might be interpreted as your saying do I have an effective platform and the answer is yes. The issue however originally became relevant by members of a political group claiming association with ASAN making demands at me to conform to a certain point of view or face the consequences. I naturally refused these such hostilities. In return I have intellectually dissected their public relations modality (political view) and tactics.
I can guarantee that the advocacy I conduct in the media, in broadcasting, on T.V when applicable and otherwise in general awareness is effective and seeks some of the similar goals of pride advocates. However I take into account the need for a highly constructive pubic relations strategy to make inclusion more possible constructively and gainfully. It however is primary focused to benefit individuals who otherwise are not going to typically become scientist, IT professionals and college graduates with intermediate and or advanced degrees. It is for individuals with otherwise substantial disabilities as defined by federal and state laws.
With abortion issues comes great conflict socially.

I think you need to accept that you might not be the right bloke for the job and that you may do more harm than good UNLESS you change your attitude rapidly.
Honestly my opinion is pride advocacy is out of touch with the reality of most individuals. My approaches are sensible and work creating positive relationships for a specific focus of inclusion. Pride seems to create conflict and thrive on it. I do not at all believe that you somehow know what you are talking about in context to what I really do that continues to grow. Also the world is not centered around the hostilities of pride vs. cure. However I am ethically required to follow the law and the laws state individuals have the right to treatment. I am sure the issues will unravel themselves in spite of all of the social hostilities.

For the umpteenth time I am not affiliated with the Pride movement.
I am saying that you lack the communication and leadership skills to make a difference.
I am saying that I think you may do more harm than good.
I was speaking about pride in general which represents the polar opposite of cure agendas. These two ideals are the forces of intense interests by a %. However in reality I have not discovered one other autism self-advocate at all vested in these issues. With regards to my leadership style to continue to reverse on me what I've said about ASAN is fruitless. Others including myself do not want anything to do with the mess they chose to create to try to get attention and achieve their goals. While I have similar goals I do intend to continue to achieve them with friendly methods in offline PR.
You are welcome to keep up with what I do as it is now growing out of the area. Just got the simi-robotic equipment. Supportive employment sales continue to rise and more hours provided. I am very happy with the accomplishments and of which have been done with very sensible and positive relationship building principles.

Nothing to do with ASAN, Pride or the Salvation Army!
If you can not communicate, nobody will follow you.
You do not see a need to improve your communication;, therefore, you are wasting your time and everybody else's.
Stick to running the sheltered workshop and leave the politics to those who have the appropriate skills, attitude and willingness to take on constructive feedback.
I do not seek others follow me. Also I have only acquired a tangible understanding of keeping the political advocates at bay to not effect what I and others do in the future in their attempts to control how I and others think, believe and decide to live our lives in context to autism and inclusion. Also what I do is not sheltered workshops but full on inclusion and employment for us by us. As far as communication style I already believe I did say I have a learning disability and I have spoken about being in special education with concern to it. I cannot just snap out of it and be like you in how you want me to be. I find that most people are very respectful and considerate and don't mind imperfection and in fact that's just how someone is.
I don't buy into the elitists requirements you profess in order to succeed. You may just be a little out of touch with the everyday world and advocacy. What is your experience?
