well zeraeph im not out to get you and im glad your back.as far as an apology im not sure what for.as far as censuring someone,if you cant provide name of post and page number where said cyber abuse occured how can i recomend to a moderator that someone should be repromanded

For one thing I am *NOT* back...it's just that, with half a bottle of excellent single malt and three ambien under my belt to conquer the insomnia and make an early appointment I was POWERLESS TO RESIST the urge to make those two remarks any longer (trust me, I have been fighting the urge for days).

For another, if you cannot see the the blatantly obvious for yourself there is not a thing I am going to be able to say to make you, so I have too many better things to do....BUT...I think you WILL find you get far fewer "flirty" emails if you take the word "liason" out of your sig...and anyone who told you it was a cool word to use is NOT A REAL FRIEND.

(PS once upon a time I had the use of a '92 Eldorado any time I liked...steered like a Fiat Panda, but parked like an ocean going liner - swings and roundabouts, huh?)

Oh...and if anyone from Autism Speaks is looking, of course, I too have my price...simple equation...find out what Fnord will accept...then DOUBLE it...and then you will probably have to pay him the same for compliance with several kinds of equality legislation.

I would like to point out that you are the one who heavily criticized my use of medication and spread a ridiculous lie about me being on a deadly med combo. I received countless messages from people afraid for my life. Kat and my sister received messages as well and called me afraid for my life until I explained the truth to them. That was outrageous and uncalled for.

Mixing Ambien and alcohol can result in deadly CNS depression.

There is no legitimate medical reason to take three tablets of Zolpidem Tartrate with alcohol (particularly such a large quantity). Countless people have died from this combination.

I will contact a moderator here if you respond to this with any further criticism of my medication.

But you mistake me sir, I would hate to discourage you from, or criticize you for mixing your meds in any way you choose.

As for criticism, puh-leese, I would LOVE a regular prescription of Dexadrine, or even Desoxyn (aka crystal meth on prescription) but that is probably only because I am a thoroughly degenerate speed freak with a vague death wish anyway?

So any sense of negativity is only my jealousy seeping through...feel free to ignore.

Desoxyn is a viable treatment option. It comes in 5mg tablets and is no more abusable than any other prescription amphetamine. Unfortunately, it suffers from a negative stigma, as does Dexedrine, despite the fact that Adderall is 3/4 Dexedrine.

Crystal meth is a notoriously impure street drug in volatile form. Users will often smoke, snort or inject massive quantities at a time. Many IV users will inject 500mg or more in one fell swoop. It is not possible to do this with Desoxyn.

Caffeine shares the same side-effects profile as methamphetamine, but is not euphoric enough for users to use such vast quantities.

If a medication is abusable, and you are inclined to abuse it, you will, be it Adderall, Dexedrine, Desoxyn, Vyvanse, or non-stimulant prescriptions.

Many others use these medications responsibly and receive enormous benefits.

Unfortunately, it will not be deemed a valid treatment option for an admitted speed freak. That is not to say it could not be.

I abused many drugs for a longtime. They gave me an identity which people understood - of course I was weird and obsessive and socially awkward, I was a drug addict!

When I learned to accept myself for who I am and received a diagnosis, I didn't need the drugs.

I do not abuse my medication because I need it to work! It allows me to be the best version of me. I never even liked to be high. When I feel like the best version of me, I don't have to get high. When I accept myself, I don't need to use drugs to fit in.

Diagnosis, self-acceptance, hard work, and medication have allowed me to leave behind a negative attitude, self-loathing and a self-destructive lifestyle.

Drugs used in excess will cause detriemental effects. This is true of ANY drugs.
This is not what you are saying and I do not think we are thinking this.

Therapeutic drug use is fine in my book. I think you are coming from a place of well intentioned and knowledgeable insight here.

This may well be a constructive dialogue which may well recieve acclaim in another Autism Speaks article. It is subjects like this, that if written well (and there is really no question as to your ability to write well) to open the way to such meaningful discourse.

I doubt that it mentioned here will do much but allow for to and fro chat. but on Autism Speaks site it will have a greater impact.

Aye. It's nice to know that people see me as directed by a force of nature rather than by any specific personal interest.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand Zeraeph's motivation, other than inciting chaos. I've finally had enough and have taken steps to have this situation taken care of.
