I think what is missing in a lot of cultures is family.

I didn't think this was a problem in Latinx culture but it's a problem in WASP America and WASP UK.

It's not normal or healthy. It's certainly not from the animal world. It came about because nuclear families are easier to move around the family than extended families are.

Most animals in the wild will live with their kin. Most people historically have done the same. Most people round the world do the same.

Ironically this is probably why ethnic minorities stick together. Even in a new place, they cling onto family.

THANK YOU! YES! Luckily I have a small but good family however sometimes I think we need to expand. What I like about black/hispanic culture is that many folk tend to make friends who are introduced via their family. For example Uncle Rico introduces you to his friends from work etc. I think WASP america should do this more. But we should start forming "families" as well kinda like the italian mafia lol or a "tribe"

1. Please, refrain from personal remarks when discussing opinions;
2. Some WP members are content with their social lives. Others are not. Can we accept both as facts?

Sadly, it is our inherent diversity that precludes a "One Size Fits All" solution, such as what the OP suggests.

Anyway, I thought you said you were done here.

Would I be out of line to think this guy just wants to rant about problems with absolutely no concern about how to possibly resolve them?

Soitinlee!

As I said, "One Size Fits All" is inapplicable to the "Aspie Problem".

Probably; but you may not be too far off-target, either.

Are you seriously proposing that we start "whacking" those who disagree with us?  Or should we just make them offers they cannot refuse?

You have said that at least once before.

How much do you know about paths other ASD people chose?
Even the WP members active in this thread. How much do you know about life history of each of us?

What do you mean by being coddled? I have been bullied multiple times and would call being coddled a very precise opposite of the way I am treated.

Same here.  Besides, "coddling" is the underlying theme of a support site like this one.  Many of us would not be here if we were not "coddled" in some small way.

Maybe I misunderstood, but my thinking was he meant coddled IRL since that is the main thing he seems to be talking about. It is pretty relaxed here, but most of my IRL experience would mean a word the exact opposite of coddle.

I have the same impression.  Let us wait for the OP to explain his point-of-view a little more clearly...
