Most of the things that are around YOU are build by NT society. So what? You suggest that all autistic should be taken into jungles and left there alone? or to the desert?
I think someone here should stop hallucinating and imaginging that there is such a thing that NT society and not NT society. THERE IS ONLY ONE SOCIETY, OK? And every person have only ONE life and only one chance. And it DOES NOT MATTER who build cars, trains and electricity cables. BTW, in other topic some crazier autistic claim that aspergers build everything, but I do not give a damn about this. Why the hell it matters at all?
I am now leaving this discussion, because my opponent have become too infantile and childish and they began suggesting that there could be other -non-NT world, sort of.. that if you put all the autistic together - they will sort of make up their own society. Wake up, people, there is no such thing as special accosiation and kindredship between autistic. autistic love each other not more than they love anybody else. Go to the topic of the support meetings for aspies. Even Aspies can hardly tolerate each other. they come back from those meeting depressed, because IT IS DAMN DEPRESSING to be in the company of autistic, even if you are autistic.

If you use the word "extrapolate", go, look it up in the dictionary first.

I think a cure for autism (especially LFA) could be a good thing (depending on what they mean by "cure").

But I think it's a terrible idea to take a couple of autistic kids to Mexico to have some doctor experiment on them by squirting stem cells into their brains.

No, I am saying society needs to be rethought from the ground up.

There is one society out there and at present its not like we are included in it at all.

Some of us get one life and no chance.

It matters if we are to construct a new society, or to edit the existing one.

Kangoogle you have a way of saying things like no one else can. Such as this here quote. I find many of your posts brilliant. Not that you are saying anything new. It is the way you say it. Just straight to the point. Sometimes I really do cry when I read what you say because I wish I could say it the way you do and I have the same passion you do but not the same way to articulate it. I truly believe you speak for many of us, perhaps the majority of us here on the spectrum..

I don't see the point of injecting stem cells into their brains either. Fully viable pleuripotent neural progenitor cells already exist in the brain of every human being their entire lives. Why add more? Why would adding more of the same produce a different result? What would be the scientific rationale? Injecting more "cerebrum cells" to see if these kids will become smarter, or more "cerebellar cells" to see if they will become more coordinated would be equally pointless. Is this a medical neurologist, a real one, with an MD/PhD degree, with a career in research and a proven career track record?

Further, injecting foreign stem cells into the brain would likely provoke an immune response, with concomitant inflammation, cellular damage, possible auto-immune response and damage, and consequential neurological damage such as formation of beta-amyloid plaque, etc.

Valid research exploring the possibility of "waking up" existing pleuripotent neural progenitor cells that are "lying dormant" is underway in various experiments, which will reveal any benefit (and any adverse or abnormal reactions that may result) in various neurological disorders.

Injecting foreign stem cells into the brains of autistic children without conducting rigorous preliminary research, or without even waiting to see the results of existing pleuripotent neural progenitor cell research, is unethical - at least. Unprofessional, irresponsible, careless, and criminal also leap to mind!

I guess that's many years of mathematical training for you, they really do teach people how to be concise. My style was not always like this, it took a few years (inadvertently) to get here.
