I fint he article quit eunclear onw hat the bill would actually do, so I can't really say what I think. Having an autism director in each trust seems good, since now autism services are spread out between learning disabilities, mental health, etc. But screening eveyr 2-year-old seems a little over the top.

The doctors do have a point: If you create services for people with Autism above the normal provisions for developmental disorders your creating a strong incentive for everyone with similar issues but not actually autism to try and get an inaccurate label.

This is not a good thing.
