facebook groups
what's up with the facebook group, "wrong planet for aspies?" there's only two members, and they claim that this site is bad for people for the spectrum. i have yet to see how. i mean, i have learned so much off of this website about myself and about others... like the old adage goes, "once you have met one aspie, you have met them all." i guess these are just different aspies. haha.
there's also this group called "musicians against autism." they donate directly to plays that support autistic services in my area. i guess that is really good, but what about the "against" part? i guess they want to find a cure. maybe. i don't know. i almost want to message them and ask, then ask if any of them are on the spectrum. i personally like the spectrum. i mean, at least i like some people on the spectrum and thinking about the spectrum (more like obsessing, )
i was recently dx'd the other day. i took a tour of an autistic services inc building, because i was meeting with one of the people who works with them, i think. i fell in love, haha. it was so cool.
i need my own stim room, haha. actually, that's not bad. i could really build one if i wanted.
ramble over.
so yeah, this post was originally about autism activism. i don't know so much about it.
