what would be a good way to ...
The best thing I can think of is to explain at least the social aspect is to first talk about how body language, facial expressions, mannerisms, ect is 95% of language. Explain that that is their first language, english is their second.
Then explain that to you, that language is like your 2nd and you have to decipher it through a cell phone that keeps cutting out.
Since I've never been able to think like a neurotypical, that's a tough one, but all I can think of is that you'd have to set them up in an elaborate Punk - kind of like they used to do on Mission Impossible, so that from the time they woke up, the world around them would appear to be the one they were used to, but everything would be faked, set up from the git-go to frustrate and obfuscate. A Truman Show sort of reality.
When they got to work, their normal routine would be completely different than what they were used to and designed to be as illogical, confusing and embarrasingly uncomfortable as possible. Everyone else in the workplace would have been coached on these new procedures for weeks ahead of time, so that they could do it all effortlessly, but our subject would be left to fumble and screw up, constantly told to hurry it up - if the subject discovered a workaround method that could achieve the required objective, but meant doing it in a different sequence, or omitting a step, the boss would immediately forbid that practice and come over to bully and threaten the subject. The catchphrase in the workplace, among coworkers and supervisors alike, always aimed at the subject would be 'What the F*ck is wrong with you?'
Outside of work, everywhere the subject went, no matter what they were doing, strangers and casual onlookers would give strange looks, frown, sneer, or whisper amongst themselves. The subject would never know exactly why this was happening or what they were doing that was so odd or funny-looking.
At home, any friend, or SO would complain every time they started to engage in a solitary activity or hobby. They would be told constantly that they were ignoring said loved one and that they did not appreciate that person's feelings or sacrifice, but no possible clue would ever be given as to exactly what the other person's emotional needs were, only that they were not being met. The subject would be made to feel guilty any time they were unable to intuit the desired response.
I think that bit of setup role play would be a good way to start. Then make them live in those conditions for six months without letup and wait for them to crack. Get the antidepressants ready. ![]()

So if that language came 2nd, does that mean English came 3rd? If so, what came 1st?

English comes first. Although if you wanna get philosophiocal, I suppose you could say logic is our first.
